Harris Resort Barelang Batam

Hotel was nice and location near the beach was good. The staff were all very friendly. Breakfast had a very good spread.

It’s a relatively new resort with all the facilities that a Club Med would have (sans costs and a little discount for service level). The resort is not so lively from Monday to Thursday but there is uptick in activity and buzz on the weekend - seems the sun also adopts the same schedule as it was rainy and gloomy on the Thursday and Friday we arrived but was bright and sunny with high tide levels on the Saturday. The resort is next to Barelang bridge with a great instagrammable view - rooms are large and our sea view one had an excellent view of the islands and kelongs by the side. The Spa was on the pricier side compared to what you get in town but was still worth the costs and effort. Still an excellent choice and well worth the bargain on trip - most recommended and will do this trip again.

We enjoyed the hotels amenities and facilities..nice and huge pool and also have private beach. In weekends they have form party at pool for kids.

Welcomed by a almost die 🪳 in room. Requested for extra bed on top of sofa bed available in room but offered sofa bed, ended up paying extra just for the bedsheet. The amenities in room quite old, with stain and not acceptable for a 4 star resort hotel. Toilet always wet, as the water flow veey slow. Breakfast no variety of choices, and flies everywhere, even on food. Food counter not cleaned regularly. Requested baby chair but staff not even clean when passed to us, there is food leftover on chair on all 3 mornings that we use baby high chair, disgusting with not removable stain on chair too. Far from everything, takes 30 to 40 minutes to town area, not many food choices nearby, even food delivery. The good thing is plenty of swimming pool, but not many are shaded. Private beach with less visitor, but some trash on beach, not maintained well. Nice sunset though. But not worth the price paying.

It was a great place to relax and enjoy. The landscape is beautiful and the breakfast is with a wide spread. Staffs are very friendly. Overall an enjoyable staying experience.

amazing for kids! we came for a quick long weekend getaway with my two year old, and she had lots of fun! we just alternated between pool, room, nap, sleep, seafood and beach club for a whole day and it was very fun especially for my daughter. the resort is stunning, and the breakfast is DELICIOUS. but do expect some flies here and there at breakfast.. foam party was really fun, but for some reason my daughter wasn't too interested in it haha. she'd rather be in the pool all day long. the kids pool and adults pool are both really big and pretty.
