Yuexiu Hotel Guangzhou, Curio Collection by Hilton

I had a wonderful stay at Yuexiu Hotel Guangzhou, Curio Collection by Hilton; the room was clean and tidy. Special thanks to Mona and Curren from the concierge team for their warm assistance with my luggage and their patient guidance. Their service was attentive and professional, making the overall experience truly exceptional. Highly recommended!

The facilities are well-equipped, making it especially suitable for long-term family trips. The location is very convenient with easy access to transport, right across from Yuexiu Park. Downstairs, there's a time-honored Cantonese restaurant serving authentic flavors!

The room was quite spacious and the facilities were new. It came with a washing machine and an induction cooker. If needed, you could borrow cooking utensils from the service center. The location is next to Yuexiu Park, not far from several nearby attractions, though a bit of a walk from the subway station, so taking a taxi would be more convenient. The outdoor pool is lovely; although independently operated, guests can use it for free. The water temperature is 28 degrees Celsius, and the depth is around 1.5 meters.

Perhaps due to the National Day holiday, the hygiene was quite concerning. Upon entering the room, I immediately found two strands of hair. Check-in was smooth. I booked a suite and a twin room for a four-night stay, but received no welcome amenities. There was a pregnant lady at the front desk working during the National Day holiday, which was admirable. Even though she wasn't in uniform, her professionalism shone through. The room facilities were decent. Most corners were rounded to prevent accidental bumps. However, the bathroom counter had no lip, so items easily fell off, right into the trash bin, which was a bit annoying. They had robots, but I barely used them as most items were still delivered by staff. For breakfast, the wontons and steamed buns were freshly made. The wonton chef was very quick and the wontons were delicious. The bun auntie was a bit slower, so there was usually a queue. Other dishes were pretty much the same for all four days, which got boring after a while.

The hotel has been recently renovated and having a washing machine was convenient. The bathroom was a bit cramped, especially when both doors to the shower and toilet areas were open. Everything else was pretty standard. The location is convenient for getting anywhere, and it's in the old town area. Yuexiu Park is right across the street, and you can easily walk to the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall and the Five-Ram Sculpture. There's also Beiyuan Restaurant nearby, which serves good, traditional dim sum.
