NIPPONIA HOTEL Hakodate Port Town

We used this hotel to celebrate a birthday. Immediately after booking, we received information about the meals and other services, and we appreciated being able to enter allergies and any requests for the day in detail. On the day of our stay, the hotel staff provided information about the hotel itself and nearby tourist attractions during check-in, which made the experience even more appealing. The room was more spacious than we expected, and we loved its clean and warm atmosphere. Although our stay in Hakodate was only one night, we think we could easily enjoy a more relaxing hotel stay here, so we would like to visit again next time. The course we had featured local ingredients, and both the food and drinks were delicious.

The hotel is built inside the old red-brick warehouses of the old port. It's very well located and quiet. The rooms are more modern and spacious, but nothing exceptional. The service was very helpful and friendly despite the language barrier, with good restaurant recommendations, etc. Breakfast was good. In short, a good place to stay. The hike to Mount Hakodate is easily accessible from the hotel, as is the visit to the consular district.
