Lovely building, and great location for the medina, and outide locations, and taxis. Rooms are all different, nicely furnished, very clean, but the beds were a bit too hard! Great breakfasts, which were varied each day, plus we were lucky to be ble to have breakfast on the lovely roof terrace. Be aware of the local tax payment, we hadn't had to pay one at out hotel in Chefchaouen, so weren't expecting one here. Payment wasn't asked for at booking in, only as we were leaving for the airport, no credit cards accepted, all local currency had been used up, luckily we still had some euros, otherwise we would have stuck!

Traditional Moroccan riad well located in the market area convenient for the Museums, Casbah, port and other tourist places in Tangier. friendly and helpful staff, comfortable and large rooms, good breakfast on terrace overlooking the bay. Great place to stay for 2-3 nights

A beautiful Riad in a great location in the old town (medina). Really friendly staff, comfortable en-suite room and bed, good shower, aircon (not needed in March but I bet it’s welcome in summer!) and a fantastic breakfast. We took lots of photos of the inside - it’s stunning. If you are staying in Tangier, I do recommend you stay in the medina. It’s where you will very likely spend most of your time and being able to pop home for a short rest or to relax on the roof terrace is a great way to unwind from the hustle and bustle before another round of shopping or eating! You might want to bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper as the mosques do broadcast quite loudly and there is a greater concentration of them in the medina, but for us it just added to the atmosphere! Why stay in soulless hotel when you could choose a place like this.

This is our first time in Morocco and we wanted to try something unique. I had no Dora what I was signing up for but this was an amazing place for what we were looking for. We are a family of four ( couple + 19y + 15y ). Room: huge. We had a family suite. One bedroom and another room with two single beds plus one bathroom . Decoration is awesome and provides the full experience. Bathroom: very good for an older building Super clean! Staff was great, not amazing English but good enough. Once we got there to checkin they took us to the rooftop and offered us some tea Wi-Fi was pretty decent Location: right on the middle of the old Medina which I would recommend if you want to experience the real Tangier. It takes a bit of walk and Google maps to get there but we lived that as part of the experience. Breakfast: really good and server on the rooftop BUT it is not a fast service as they make everything fresh, it took us a good 45 minutes for breakfast. We did not on the second day since we had a ferry to catch I would definitely recommend this place. Send me a note if you need info about Tangier (ferry, what to do, etc)

My husband and I stayed at the Riad Tingis for three nights during a recent trip to Tangier and would highly recommend it to other travellers, based on our experience. The riad is really warm and welcoming, the rooms are very comfortable and the staff are lovely!

They deserve many superlatives, but if there’s one outstanding feature at Riad Tingis it must be service. From the hearty welcome on arrival to punctual transport assistance to the airport on departure, the staff deserves every accolade. We stayed in Omaima, a cheery room with large double bed, seating area and bathroom with toilet, bidet, shower and hand basin. No windows but the rooftop is only a short flight of stairs away, with spectacular views over the Medina towards the sea… and Spain. Tangier is very humid and we found our washing did not air dry. Breakfasts were better than at a more expensive riad we stayed in and set us up well for the day. The riad is well situated in the medina with plentiful restaurants, shopping and sights within easy walking distance. Highly recommended.

The Riad Tingis was an amazing place to stay on our first visit to Tangiers: it was the highlight of our holiday. It has friendly staff, the breakfasts are bountiful with up to six types of bread, the terrace has stunning views and comfortable seating, and they've really invested in the decor with beautiful touches all around the building. Great value for money too.

Lovely Riad in old section. Room was very large and comfortable and we definitely appreciated the air conditioning. Breakfast on the terrace was wonderful as was the view. Omer and his staff were very helpful and answered all our questions from where to eat dinner, buying dried dates and getting taxis.
