The Murray, Hong Kong, a Niccolo Hotel

This hotel is located in the heart of Central, right next to Hong Kong Park, which is a lovely, compact park I highly recommend. It's within walking distance of both Central and Admiralty MTR stations, making it incredibly convenient to get to Victoria Peak and the Mid-Levels Escalators. We even took a minibus up the mountain after dinner to enjoy the views and then rode the Peak Tram down, arriving right back at the hotel – so convenient! It’s a peaceful oasis in a bustling area, with an outstanding location. The rooms are very well-maintained and feel new. They are surprisingly spacious for a hotel in Central, and I particularly appreciated the mattress, which was just the right firmness for an excellent night's sleep. The soft furnishings and smart amenities strike a great balance between quality and practicality. The room size was also much larger than expected. Breakfast is a buffet with an à la carte option, offering a wide variety of both Western and Chinese dishes, including many Hong Kong-style noodles and Western options. The staff are proactively friendly and respond to requests promptly, always striking the right balance. They are also very accommodating to Mandarin speakers, treating everyone equally, regardless of their nationality. It was a very comfortable experience. This hotel is definitely the top choice for business travelers in Central or anyone looking to deeply experience the financial hub of Hong Kong.

Excellent location. Hotel facilities are great. The staff are very friendly and polite. Especially Ali, who provided excellent and courteous service. He's also quite handsome, 100 points! I really loved the atmosphere. ☺️☺️

Had a wonderful time at Hotel Merri. Florence and Eliza were both very friendly and attentive. The room was clean and comfortable, and the environment was quiet. Breakfast was rich and delicious. Highly recommend, and I'll definitely be back next time.

The lady at the front desk was incredibly professional and observant. She noticed it was my son's birthday that day and, after confirming with us, even sent up a small cake and a card. We're so grateful! The room was spacious with a great view, and the bathroom was very comfortable. Breakfast was also plentiful. Definitely worth staying again!

This is the most pleasant hotel I've stayed at in Hong Kong so far. I've been a Niccolo member for a while but never stayed at this particular one. The thoughtful service from the male front desk staff (didn't catch his name) during check-in definitely deserves praise. The room details, the restaurant's meticulous service, the creative latte and desserts were all delightful surprises, and the concierge's comprehensive assistance was very satisfying. If you're staying on Hong Kong Island, this is a top choice.
