Li River CIAO Hotel( Guilin Elephant Trunk Hill)

The experience at Guilin Lijiang CIAO Hotel was excellent. The art dome in the lobby is very well-designed, and the Qin Infinity Pool directly faces the Li River, offering views of Chuanshan (Pierced Hill) and Tashan (Pagoda Hill). The rooms are clean and comfortable, with soft bedding. You can enjoy a relaxing Spa experience, and the Chunzhuang-Qiao Yan Jiang View Restaurant offers distinctive dishes. Elephant Trunk Hill is within walking distance, making it convenient for sightseeing. The service is attentive, making it very suitable for couples.

The hotel's design is very impressive, with thoughtful touches everywhere, from the lobby and the intangible cultural heritage art space to the first-floor restaurant and pool, and even the rooftop terrace restaurant. Many angles reminded me of an Italian art exhibition. The breakfast selection is extensive and delicious, and there are plenty of recreational facilities. If you're bringing children, there are many activities like water play and handicraft DIY.

This hotel is incredibly well-designed, especially the infinity pool – it's absolutely stunning and perfect for photos, overlooking the beautiful river. Plus, it's super close to Elephant Trunk Hill; you can even see it from the bridge right outside. The rooms themselves are also very stylish, and the comfort level is top-notch. The staff are incredibly attentive and warm. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the front desk had all sorts of emergency travel essentials readily available!

Blown away by the 14,000-piece glazed ginkgo dome in the lobby – the Italian aesthetic blends perfectly with the local landscape. The river-view breakfast and pool experience were fantastic. With the spa, kids' garden, and intangible cultural heritage workshops, there's plenty to do. It's also very close to Elephant Trunk Hill, making it convenient for sightseeing. The service was attentive, and the overall stay was comfortable. Definitely a great choice when visiting Guilin.

The room was clean and comfortable, and you can easily walk to the Two Rivers and Four Lakes scenic area and Elephant Trunk Hill, making it very convenient for getting around. Staying here and enjoying the river view is incredibly therapeutic, and the overall check-in experience was very pleasant.

This is a very clean and tidy hotel. Both the public areas and rooms are meticulously cleaned. The staff at the front desk, both the gentlemen and ladies, were incredibly helpful and friendly. The restaurants they recommended were all delicious. The hotel is also conveniently located near Chuanshan Park, which is a must-visit – it's truly beautiful. Being by the Li River, the hotel offers picturesque views. Highly recommend!

Extremely satisfied with my stay! This high-value art hotel on the Li River has a superb location, very close to Elephant Trunk Hill within walking distance. The room was clean and comfortable, with stunning river views. The infinity pool and dome lobby create an incredible atmosphere, perfect for photos. Breakfast was delicious, and the service was attentive. It's very convenient for getting around and exploring. Definitely my top choice for accommodation in Guilin, highly recommended!

Ciao was our first stop in Guilin, and it was full of delightful surprises. The front desk staff mentioned they had spare rooms and upgraded me directly to a river-view room. He even helped push my luggage all the way to the room, and his attitude was superb. The river view at dusk with that lovely blue hue was truly beautiful, with many people jogging along the riverbank. It’s not on a main road, so it’s very quiet. Upon leaving, they even gave me a delicate little gift. It's also very convenient to get to the Two Rivers and Four Lakes to see the Sun and Moon Twin Pagodas at night. I rarely write reviews, but I genuinely wanted to praise this hotel this time.

I visited last month and found it to be excellent, so when I had business in Guilin this time, I immediately booked again. The hotel rooms are very clean and tidy. The front desk staff, both male and female, are incredibly kind and helpful; they try their best to accommodate any requests. The hotel breakfast is varied and delicious, and the breakfast restaurant has a nice atmosphere. The scenery along the Li River is beautiful. I'll definitely come back if I have the chance.
