This might be the first time I've seen such murky water in a beachfront hotel pool. Plus, the hotel faces a main road, and I'm not exaggerating when I say there was a constant, incredibly loud roar of motorcycles all night long. If I hadn't been so tired from traveling, I definitely wouldn't have been able to sleep! The hotel facilities are new, and the front desk service was average. A big shout-out to the bellhop though; when we were leaving, our taxi driver couldn't find the hotel, and he proactively came out to signal and used our phone to communicate with the driver. That instantly earned the hotel some points!

Traveling during peak season, the hotel's location is decent. There's a 7-Eleven about a 5-minute walk away. Getting to Jungceylon or the bar street is more convenient by motorbike, and you can pay extra for two people to ride. The room has a nice small balcony with two high chairs and a table, perfect for watching the sunset, smoking, or drying clothes. Breakfast was alright. The hotel service was good, though for nearly 1000 baht a night, it feels more like a 500-yuan hotel in China, as no one helps with luggage when you arrive or opens doors for you. The pool isn't huge but is pleasant for sunbathing. I left a 50 baht tip on the bed and, as hoped, got a towel animal.

Aside from the friendly and enthusiastic front desk staff, everything else was a complete disaster! I've stayed at 5 hotels in Patong, and this one was by far the worst! The street noise made it impossible to sleep, and the roaring motorbikes were truly shocking! I have no idea how this place is considered a four-star hotel. I can understand having to ask for a razor, but even a toothbrush? This hotel absolutely does not meet four-star standards! The room facilities and size are, at best, on par with a budget business hotel. The breakfast was pathetic, with almost nothing edible, and the guava offered wasn't even fresh.

This hotel has an excellent location, very close to Patong Beach. The breakfast selection is rich and delicious, especially the mini pizza-like pastries which were really good. The room decor is modern and youthful. There's a 7-Eleven and other shops within 50 meters of the hotel, making it very convenient for shopping. Highly recommended!
