I loved everything about the hostel! The staff was friendly and the facilities were great, good common space for cooking and chilling, a bookstore and breakfast from a cool sandwich shop next door. I like the brutalist look of the hotel. However there was some mildew behind my bed, it game me sore throat and stuffed nose.

The location is perfect for me. There’s a breakfast shop downstairs, and you can redeem a 100 TWD voucher for your daily breakfast. I also really love the bookstore there. But it wasn’t a perfect stay in Taipei. After the first night, the floor became wet with morning dew and because of that the book I brought got curled. The condition there is really damp which made us worried.

Exactly like the picture where the place is clean with amenities for studying and working! There's even breakfast provided so its really worth the money with good location. Only downside is the stairs are narrow so big luggage will be tough.

Great stay as ever - I've become a regular and this became my go to place when I'm in Taipei for a night or two, provided one of their indovidual rooms is available - dorms not for me anymore folks... Will surely return if I ever come.back to Taipei and owlstay is still there. Cheers all

All good but the hot water supply is unstable, the shower water is either very hot or very cold hard to control. Other than that pretty good

Had a fantastic stay! The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming. The hotel's location near Taipei Main Station is super convenient, and it's really close to Eslite Bookstore and Zhongshan MRT Station. There are so many amenities right downstairs too, like a convenience store, KFC, breakfast shops, and bubble tea places – just perfect. Inside, the hotel was clean and bright. Highly recommend!

I got a bunk bed room for this trip, budget but good environment, and security. staff is friendly and nice they are always willing to help it’s nearby Zhongshan station and Taipei main station. The shared bathroom have soap and shampoo also dryer. They also provide the towel. Love it will be back for sure. 🩷🩷🩷🇹🇼🇹🇼

The service was excellent, and they even offered breakfast vouchers. It was super convenient to grab breakfast right outside the guesthouse every morning. The station was just a 10-minute walk away. The only minor issue was that the laundry room was a bit far from my room; I had to go downstairs and then back upstairs.
