Shangri-La Nanshan, Shenzhen

The breakfast restaurant and executive lounge are both conveniently located on the 66th floor. Every meal at the executive lounge was delicious, especially the char siu (BBQ pork) at dinner. The hotel's overall style is cohesive and harmonious, and the floral arrangements are also very well-suited.

I stayed at the Shangri-La Shenzhen Nanshan for a short trip to celebrate my birthday. Lynn, the manager at the Executive Lounge, upgraded my room after learning the purpose of my visit. From the floor-to-ceiling windows, I could enjoy views of Shenzhen Bay and Window of the World, along with a delicious mini-cake that my partner raved about – a truly delightful surprise! My heartfelt thanks to them. The hotel facilities are well-maintained, and both the public areas and guest rooms offer stable living conditions. The Coastal City Park is also within walking distance. Service response is prompt, and the hotel strikes a good balance between soft and hard amenities. I highly recommend it for anyone traveling in the Greater Bay Area.

Really loved the pool and the views from the 77th floor! The only downside was our room faced a tall building that blocked the view, and there was a blinking light from that building that shone into our room 🥴🥴. I wanted to let my child look at the night view, but that blinking light was just so annoying 😅! The service was excellent though, from the front desk to the gym staff and room service! The breakfast view was nice! But!! The variety was so limited, which was truly disappointing!! For a hotel of this caliber, the breakfast felt a bit underwhelming, especially since breakfast is such an important part of the experience 😂. Whenever we stay at a hotel with our kids, they love having a buffet breakfast, especially with a high-floor view. Compared to this, the breakfast at Raffles is much better!

We stayed at Shangri-La Nanshan with two young children. The room was comfortable and the location was convenient. Breakfast exceeded our expectations with delicious and diverse options. The front desk staff, Zia, Julie, Vivian, and Wendy, were attentive and provided excellent service. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I highly recommend it for families!

Opened not long ago, Shangri-La Nanshan is very new and much better than the one in Luohu. The service philosophy truly emphasizes warm and attentive service with a 'customer first' approach. The environment is beautiful and comfortable, and the accommodation facilities are outstanding. From the moment you're greeted at the entrance, you immediately feel right at home! The overall ambiance is high-end. Member points and breakfast benefits are clear and transparent, with no hidden issues, making it suitable for both short business trips and family travel. Rita at the front desk was professional, and Nancy even added me on WeChat and proactively greeted me, anticipating our needs and responding promptly to our questions. The bay view room directly overlooks Shenzhen Bay, offering excellent views, especially the beautiful sunset – it's worth spending time in the room just for that! The mall downstairs has restaurants we like and is close to the metro! The breakfast restaurant on the 66th floor also has great views, with panoramic scenes of Shenzhen Bay. The tables aren't crowded, service is prompt, and the freshly made bread and desserts are a major highlight! The freshly made rice noodle rolls (changfen) were also quite tasty!

Overall, I had a great experience and a lovely birthday. The hotel is beautiful, and the staff are very welcoming and attentive. My only minor complaint is that the fan noise was a bit loud at night, but it wasn't a big issue as the hotel thoughtfully provided earplugs. I would definitely choose to stay here again if I have the chance.
