Waldorf Astoria Xiamen

The Waldorf Astoria as a whole has a sophisticated and comfortable ambiance, and the service is excellent. My private butler, Nico, was exceptionally attentive, patiently handling all my requests throughout my stay and proactively arranging everything. The service was just right, and I truly felt the warmth of the brand.

The hotel is incredibly luxurious, and the breakfast was both plentiful and delicious. Our private butler, Veve, was always on hand to address any needs during our stay, making for an excellent experience.

A retro mansion by Lotus Park, away from the hustle and bustle. Nestled beside Lotus Park, this hotel offers a tranquil escape from the bustling, often homogenous beachfront hotels in Xiamen. We stayed in a 29th-floor executive corner suite with city views. Our personal butler, Veve, was exceptionally professional. She proactively arranged a welcome amenity before our arrival, responded to requests efficiently, and readily accommodated our personalized needs, significantly enhancing our stay. The breakfast was semi-buffet style. I felt the Chinese lunch options had declined (especially the à la carte dishes like beef pho), but the baked goods were still excellent. On the fifth floor, the Yi Ting restaurant has launched a new Kitty Fantasy Afternoon Tea, with super cute photo opportunities everywhere. In the evenings, there's live music starting at 8 PM; the crowd is sparse, creating a comfortable atmosphere. Considering our family trip needs, here are some areas for improvement based on our experience: 1. For family travel, executive lounge benefits are highly sought after. 2. There were no family activities available on Friday. 3. Due to the objective limitations of the plot's location, the scenic views were somewhat underwhelming.

The room was fantastic, and all the facilities were great and well-equipped. The service was excellent, and they were always helpful with anything I needed. There were evening amenities delivered in the afternoon, and the location was also convenient.

Facilities: The room boasts a modern, luxurious American style, much like an office in GTA V. I do have a suggestion: since the prices have increased, the quality of the in-room amenities should also match. The Laifen hairdryer feels a bit cheap for the price point; I'd recommend upgrading to a Dyson. Hygiene: Didn't notice any significant issues. Environment: Booked a Deluxe room but was given a Grand room. The view outside wasn't particularly impressive. The hallway soundproofing isn't great, and I was disturbed by strange noises at night, which affected my sleep. Service: The assistant manager at the Western restaurant and the supervisor at the Chinese restaurant were both very patient in listening to guest feedback, which is a big plus. The concierge staff were quite diligent, but their efficiency could still be improved.

The room is spacious and luxurious, with an incredible view overlooking the entire city of Xiamen, making you feel like you're living among the clouds. I have to commend the service; the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming, offering tea and water and even escorting us to the elevator. Kids' amenities were delivered to the room, and fresh fruit was provided. They even heard it was a birthday and arranged for a custom cake to be delivered to the room. Turndown service was impeccable, with everything neatly arranged. The swimming pool, gym, and spa facilities are all top-notch, and the staff explain everything clearly. It was a wonderful experience, highly recommended!

The decor was exactly to my taste, but the breakfast was a bit too Western for me. Overall, it was a comfortable stay.
