Logis Hotel Restaurant des Châteaux

We found this place at very short notice after having had to get out early of a Tours area hotel that we booked earlier which turned out to be a complete disappointment. The house is clean, the rooms are large and comfortable and the in house restaurtant offers a good selection of meals at a reasonable price. Above all, however, the owner is a nice lady who is very friendly, supportive and extremely helpful. We have enjoyed our 3 day stay here and can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. ******* Nous avons trouvé cet endroit à la dernière minute après avoir dû quitter prématurément un hôtel près de Tours, réservé de longue date, qui s'est avéré être une véritable déception. La maison est propre, les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables, et le restaurant sur place propose un bon choix de plats à un prix raisonnable. Mais surtout, la propriétaire est une femme charmante, très accueillante, attentionnée et extrêmement serviable. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour de trois jours et recommandons chaleureusement cet hôtel.

Comfortable beds and rooms. Looks like everything was recently renovated. Breakfast was well done with a surprising amount of choices, and the breakfast room was pretty. Just a couple minutes from the chateau and easy parking.

The staff were extremely friendly. The food in the restaurant was great and reasonably priced. The hotel was easy to find and located right next to a roundabout that let you go anywhere in the region. There were shops across the highway (accessible by car 2 minutes). Great place to stay if exploring the region’s Chteaux.

We have stayed at this hotel three times in the last year for an overnight stop on the way south.The hotel is an absolute delight to stay in. The rooms and bathrooms are always spotless. The beds are comfy. The restaurant serves the most amazing food beautifully cooked by Natasha. The menus change regularly and the food is of the highest quality.Breakfast is self service with a great selection of food. Lovely staff who always have a smile on their faces. We look forward to returning on our next trip to France.

Excellent! From the moment we arrived until the moment we left we were looked after very well by Phillipe, Natasha and the staff. Our room was very comfortable, the bathroom was a good size and the shower was very good. However, for us the highest marks should go to to the food. The breakfast had an excellent European choice. The dinners were superb. The menu was changed everyday and there was a limited but good choice of dishes. Every dish was beautifully presented and delicious. The fish and desserts were particularly good. It was a very good price for the quality. We intended to eat there just twice but only ate out at a small restaurant in the village was once. Philippe was very helpful in giving us suggestions for visits. We would definitely stay there again when we next visit France.

An OK hotel in an "out of town" location. Needed car to visit Azay le Rideau in rain! Limited bar seating but OK restaurant and nice food.

We picked this hotel as it appeared to be wheelchair friendly. We were not disappointed. Our wheelchair accessible room was excellent, the restaurant was outstanding, and the management and staff friendly and welcoming. It has a very convenient location close to several Loire Valley Chateaux. Highly recommended
