The room was very clean, and it's only about 200 meters from the Alhambra, a direct walk. The red mini-buses C2 and C5 both reach near the hotel, with C5 even stopping right at the hotel entrance. I highly recommend taking the red mini-buses; they offer a scenic tour of the entire city while circling the mountains. The hotel also seems to be a regular performance venue for a guitarist, with shows every Wednesday. I actually attended a Spanish classical guitar concert right here at the hotel, which was a wonderful experience. In Granada, you can buy an Andalusia regional green bus card, which is valid in Granada, Seville, and Cordoba for subways, buses, and trams. Each bus ride costs around 0.63 euros, with free transfers within an hour. However, it cannot be used on the EA line to Seville airport (the driver said it wasn't valid, so I just paid with my credit card instead of the green card). You can buy the green bus card at 'tobacco' shops; just search for 'tobacco' on Google Maps for navigation.

Traveling with a friend this time, we stayed at Hotel Ares. The entire hotel was clean and tidy, the environment was quiet and elegant, and the front desk service was warm and attentive. The facilities were complete. The overall experience far exceeded our expectations, highly recommended.

The hotel is classy, with spacious and clean rooms. The decor is very distinctive, and its location directly opposite the Potala Palace makes it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. There are also multiple bus routes to the city center. Breakfast is quite varied as well.

The hotel is conveniently located directly opposite the Alhambra Palace entrance, and the city's circular bus route stops right there, where you can pay with a card. The staff at the hotel lobby were very friendly and marked out the main attractions and routes on a map for us. We booked this hotel through Ctrip, and the price was over 10% higher than the hotel's actual listed rate.
