I’m not a habitual reviewer, but I really need to tell everyone just how good this place is. The hotel is wonderfully designed, with great attention to architectural detail that gives a feeling of comfort and relaxation. Great care is given to everything, from interior decor to crockery. The service is second to none - warm and helpful. Meals were cooked to order from scratch - no prepared shortcuts - which meant everything was fresh and delicious. The hotel booked a safari for us, and once again their recommendation was spot on. The experience was fantastic (and the packed breakfast the hotel provided was exceptional). There’s a private swimming pool area right across from the accommodation, which is a decent size and very clean. What can I say? My Village has got everything just right, I think.

We stayed two nights at My Village. It is a lovely hotel that has its act together very well. Our room was equipped with all the comforts, there were good sanitary facilities and it was clean. Dinner and breakfast are delicious, and the facilities such as the swimming pool and the beautiful sitting and lying areas are excellent. In addition, the hotel organized a safari in Yala park with Mari (guide and driver). Mari is a good guy with humor. But above all a good English speaking guide who showed us a lot in the park. Very satisfied with his work.

Beautiful calm shady setting with lovely pool. Very quiet. Room was v clean, with comfy bed. Owner friendly, he took us by tuk tuk to Chef Lady (lovely if you like fresh fish) restraunt and arranged our private safari. It was excellent. Our driver was Chimara. He was very knowledgeable and catered for our preference of seeing a variety of wildlife, rather than chase a leopard siting. We saw elephants, crocodiles and a variety of other mammals and birds. It was excellent.

🇱🇰 Small hotel with all the amenities. Very clean and nice rooms. Food was great. Friendly staff. Highly recommended for the people who seeks a peaceful place to stay in Tissamaharama. 👍👏We are extremely satisfied with the hotel😍We had a superb breakfast in my village

Wonderful Stay so far 👣 beautiful big room with air conditioning/fan / tea +coffee/ mini bar & hair drayer + shampoo + hands wash all in one, they provide gorgeous breakfast made great day👣 specially the swimming pool absolutely beautiful & very clean having best time @ hot 🥵 climate ☀️ The staff really fantastic they help to arrange amazing Safari trip Wild Yala park 👣 definitely back future well 👍 recommend to go where you’re 👌

The room was a a good size and the AC was efficent. Staff were friendly. The safari was well organinsed with a nice picnic lunch. The food was adequate although my vegetarian rice contained chicken so I had to pick that out - no reflection made on the bill. There is a high volume of mosquitos and we had to ask for a net and also for the room to be sprayed. Also a lot in the restauarant. The shower was cold when we returned from our safari. Ok for a one night stay.
