Rezen Meta Tree Hotel (City Center & The Bund, Shanghai)

The room is ridiculously small, nowhere to even put a luggage suitcase. The main issue, though, is that the floor right next to the bathroom sink is super slippery (as shown in the photo below)—I almost broke my old bones falling over. It wasn't cheap either, over 600 a night, definitely not worth the money.

This was my first time bringing my family to Shanghai for a trip, and we booked this hotel, choosing two quad rooms. Everyone, from the elders to the kids, was extremely satisfied. The beds were very comfortable and it was very clean. It's in a great location for walking—about a 10-minute stroll to the Bund and Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, so it's not far at all. There are plenty of great eateries all around the hotel, making it super convenient to grab breakfast. The closest metro station is People's Square. The location and food options near this hotel are simply fantastic!

Great location, just a few blocks away from the pedestrian street. The service was excellent, and they offer free luggage storage. The room is fully equipped with amenities, and the check-in process was very quick. There are also great local eateries nearby downstairs, offering pan-fried buns (shengjianbao), mutton skewers, and sesame paste noodles.
