Silky Oaks Lodge

Dad and I checked in to Silky Oaks on the tail end of a FNQ road trip. From start to finish we experienced hospitality which surpassed anything we have ever experienced. Greeted by management, checked in by Susannah, shown our thoughtfully appointed treehouse by a lovely lady from Albury, greeted warmly wherever we ventured throughout our stay. Food, bar, restaurant, reception service outstanding & consistent. Everything seamless and efficient without feeling contrived. Professional and laidback staff who clearly enjoy where they work….they all seemed to possess a similar DNA which is a winner when operating at this level. I enjoyed a fabulous spa treatment of exfoliation, massage and scalp treatment from a terrific spa professional from Tuscany. So pleasing to see the mix of local personnel with European & South American…it’s a winner Can’t wait to come back

The experience has been better than expected. Excellent, friendly and professional restaurant staff. The chef delivered every day creative and very tasty food. No complaints whatsoever for the six days spent in this resort. Relaxing time if you need or vigorous workout with different trails proposed and departing from the lodge.

Such a beautiful setting to recharge and relax. Thoughtful inclusions mean you can sit back and decide whether you need to leave the hammock/bath/riverbank for afternoon cocktails. (But do, they are worth it!)

We had a wonderful stay. Great lodge, super clean, very well appointed, lovely bar and restaurant with delicious food. The setting is amazing, you are in the rainforest with a stretch of river to swim in, the pool is also unique! The spa treatments we had were extremely good and reasonably priced. The stay was made extra special by the wonderful staff, everyone was warm and welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay magical. We hope to return one day!!!

One of the best places I have stayed in. Beautiful location, staff were lovely, fab facilities and food was stunning. Can’t recommend it enough.

Where to start!! Stay at the Silky Oaks Lodge was truly a dream come true. The staff is amazing and made us feel so welcomed and special from the moment we arrived. Our room was perfect - very clean and the mini bar was stocked with everything you could need. Our view was in the middle of the rainforest with river views and total privacy. We enjoyed time on the patio together and the bathtub was heavenly. Every meal was delicious. Such a dream!!!

We loved it here! Gorgeous property and location. So much to do or do nothing and relax. Service is fantastic. Food and selection is excellent. Wallaby out our back door. Had one of the best massages ever and so did my husband. Zero complaints! Absolutely lovely.

A breathtaking spot in the nature; friendly staff. SOL runs a try-to-be exclusive vibe but not quite there given the cost, they need to scout some managerial individuals from Aman, Six Senses or One&Only.
