Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur

Still the same Mandarin Oriental quality with a perfect location. It's just a pity that, compared to other countries, the breakfast had fewer options and the flavors didn't quite suit Asian palates. However, if we visit Malaysia again, we would still choose the Mandarin Oriental. The unbeatable tower view and being able to watch the musical fountain right from the room are amazing. The only slight drawback is that the Mandarin Oriental in Malaysia is a bit dated, which is just the way it is.

Our recent stay at the Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur was an exceptional experience and truly lived up to the label of a "great place to stay." We booked a Deluxe Park View Twin Room; it was spacious, and both beds were extremely comfortable with clean, soft linens, ensuring a wonderful night's sleep. The room was impeccably clean and had great soundproofing, making it very quiet at night. What we loved most was the park view—pulling back the curtains revealed the lush greenery of KLCC Park, offering stunning scenery both day and night. The hotel's location is extremely convenient, connected directly to Suria KLCC, making shopping and dining a breeze, while walking to KLCC Park and the Petronas Twin Towers is also effortless. The staff were warm and polite, check-in and check-out were smooth, and any inquiries were addressed promptly. I especially want to mention the buffet breakfast, which was genuinely delicious. The buffet spread offered a wide variety of choices, including local Malaysian flavors, Western hot dishes, made-to-order egg stations, salads, fresh fruits, and baked goods. The food was replenished quickly and maintained a high standard of taste. The coffee and juices were good, the dining atmosphere was comfortable, and the staff were very prompt in clearing plates, ensuring we had a satisfying start to every morning. The pool and gym facilities were also very well-maintained. Overall, with its comfortable rooms, great views, convenient location, outstanding breakfast, and attentive service, I would highly recommend it for both vacations and short stays. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Kuala Lumpur.

Breakfast was up to the usual Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur standard. The interior has a rather dated, classic Oriental luxury vibe. The location is fantastic, right next to the Petronas Twin Towers. The service was attentive, and when we requested a room with a Twin Towers view during check-in, the staff were very helpful in arranging it.

Overall it was a great stay. Both the food and accommodation were good, and the swimming pool was nice too. However, the front desk service was a bit slow, and the staff didn't do anything when people cut in line. For a five-star hotel, attention to detail in service still needs improvement.

The breakfast seating area was way too cramped, and it smelled strongly of cooking oil. Plus, the towels were frayed at the edges. I was very disappointed with my stay this time.

Clean and tidy, with an excellent location. You can see the Petronas Twin Towers right from your room! The breakfast spread is rich and varied, the gym is well-equipped, and the swimming pool overlooks the city park! Absolutely fantastic!

Stayed at the Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur for 3 days and 2 nights with two adults and two children. We chose the Petronas Twin Towers view room, which offered an absolutely stunning view – we could admire the towers' night scenery right from our bed. The hotel service was thoughtful and attentive, cleanliness was impeccable, and facilities were excellent. It was a great experience traveling with kids; the front desk was responsive, and the location was convenient, within walking distance to KLCC. It's definitely a top choice for family travel, highly recommended!
