Perfect birthday weekend getaway. Great location, my husband and I will stay here again! The hotel room was beautiful and spacious. They had complimentary turn down service which was a nice way to return from a 2hr dinner. The spa and fitness center is worth a visit. I booked an hour body scrub and an hour massage that left my skin feeling smooth and my body relaxed after the massage. The fitness center is fully equipped with all the machine and equipment you can imagine. Also had a separate studio room. They had a calendar of events for guests free of charge. We took part in a Pickle Ball Workshop for an hour and a facial workshop. If we had more time, we would’ve loved to do the cooking class. Food and drinks by the pool were appetizing and relaxing. Everything about the hotel is great except for waiting for the elevators. There were 4 elevators and it took up to 5 mins of waiting at peak times.

Probably one of the poshest hotels in Bangkok and it does live up to the expectations that come at that price point. The room was very beautiful and we had a great time. I really disliked the breakfast buffet. The food was very sub par and the seating area was too small for a hotel as big as this. It felt like a badly managed airport lounge. Also, some of the staff are a bit rude, I’m not sure why. I really enjoyed the pool and the pickle ball court tho. And also the bathrooms are full of byredo products which was a great treat!

My stay at the Conrad in Bangkok was disappointing, especially compared to the one I experienced in Korea. For a five-star hotel, it’s shocking to find that the extra bed had a rusty nail on it. My husband injured himself while moving the bed, and when I asked for assistance, he was only given a plaster. I had to remind the staff that a proper cleaning kit should have been provided, considering the potential rust. Additionally, my daughter found a cockroach in our room. I requested a clean bowl, and although I was promised that it would be brought to us, it never arrived. This experience makes me question the standards of a five-star hotel when they can't even provide a safe bed."

Could have been a pleasant stay until...
1. During checkout: I specifically asked FD to deduct the deposit (12k) from the total bill (18k) so that we will only pay for the extra charges (6k). But FD tried to charge both deposit and full bill. Good thing we received an urgent notice from the bank or else we don't know for how long we can get a refund for the wrong charge.
2. A day after checkout: We received an email of a "delayed charge" for minibar cost. We already saw a minibar charge during checkout so we thought that it was all settled but I guess not! They even asked to charge the same card on record so we were a little worried about our card details being exposed.
This is the very first time we encountered a "delayed charge charge" for minibar so it's a little disappointing.
