My husband and I went with our 10 year old daughter in April for the Easter holidays for 11 nights. It was the most amazing holiday ever! We stayed in a premium beach bungalow on All Inclusive plus board basis. Our assigned restaurant was the Koamas restaurant. All the restaurants serve the same food, the difference is the minimum age allowed, as we had a child under 12 this is where we were assigned. The food is amazing! We’d heard great things before going how good it was and it definitely exceeded our expectations. Each night was a different theme however there was still other types of food available should you not like the theme. Lots of fresh food being cooked and changed often. With our accommodation we had a green silicon wristband. Its removal so you could take if off if you wanted. Staff get to know you and what board you are on but occasionally might ask your room number to check. My husband lost his on day 3 whilst diving and he didn’t get questioned about it once. Our bungalow was on the beach directly opposite turtle airport. It was beautiful and quiet. Room is a bit dated but this didn’t bother us, it’s so clean and we were only in our room to shower and sleep and was perfect for that. UK plug sockets and hairdryer within the room. Upon arrival at your room a guest relation staff member shows you in and where everything is and how it works. We were shown the mini bar and told what was and wasn’t included as some items even if on all inclusive plus are not included. We therefore straight away took the items not included (red bull, absolute vodka, bottle gin) and placed them on a shelf so we didn’t use them. Within the fridge everyday you get fruit juices, fizzy drinks, tonic, bitter lemon, ginger ale, iced coffee drinks, sweets, chocolate, crisps and some biscuits. There is a nespresso machine that takes the normal sized pods. You get 2 pods included each day, I read this beforehand so we took a sleeve of our own incase we wanted more. Don’t take the fake pods, they get stuck or don’t work in the machines. Within your room is also an oil burner lamp with citronella oil in it that helps with mosquitos. Room smells lovely and kept them away. We actually bought some more from the shop and kept topping ours up even after housekeeping did and we didn’t get any bites at all. The outside bathroom feels a bit odd at first but you get used to it. I made the mistake on the first night getting up to use the loo and adopting the mantra of saving water if it’s yellow let it mellow and not wanting to flush incase it woke my family up. DO NOT DO THIS! The creepy crawlies it seems are attracted to it as when I went to go in the morning the whole bowl was full of them - aaaaaahhhh! Flushed and flushed again and all gone, didn’t make that mistake again and had no further toilet visitors.
