Love the team, Victoria and Jupiter namely. But some of the staff at the restaurant even remembered I liked sparkling water and I only stayed for 4 nights mid April. Love the island. The view is good everywhere, even the gym. Its huge in comparison to some other resorts and you get to bike around, or you can request a buggy ride. Overall, very reasonable price, stayed HB and already gained weight, cannot imagine FB. Villa is HUGE, AC was always cold, always kept clean, always had clean towels, and they provide bug repellent, do use it. The deck was lovely and had a sun umbrella, I miss sunbathing there with an ice coffee. I did scratch my toes going for a dip during low tide cause I was too lazy to wear my water shoes. The gym was big, had clean cold towels and drinks and equipment was new. I don't know what more to ask for. Maybe more fish? but you can go on those snorkeling excursions, we went on the dolphin excursion and saw both spinner and bottlehead dolphins. They have a blue hole nearby, do learn to free dive before attempting to enter, I regret not learning to free dive properly cause it's not something you can learn quickly, no one but the guide in our group could get in. Just book Amilla. I did island hop to another resort, and I was disappointed in everything but their coral reef. Do your research but I'm pretty sure the other resort's service cannot beat Amilla. They are worth every penny.

One of the best vacation i ever had. We stayed at a reef overwater villa. The villa in itself is very spacious and luxurious. Daily access to reef filled with fish right at our villa. Good mix of restaurants for lunch & dinner, and a perfect breakfast restaurant with focus on sustainability. The team is very kind and service oriented, did their best in accommodating us. Our katheeb Naape, had everything planned perfectly and was very accommodating to our needs. We had a perfect vacation thanks to amilla. Highly recommend and would definitely visit again.

From the moment we arrived, even though it was raining, the island remained incredibly beautiful and peaceful. It's perfect for snorkeling, and I also saw that it's ideal for families and even has a children's park. The service is excellent; the person in charge of us is always available for anything we need and responds very quickly. I feel the service is very personalized, and I loved everything...

My wife and I first stayed at Amilla Maldives in 2017 for our honeymoon. Back then the resort was already amazing in every way — so when it came time for our big family vacation this year, we didn’t hesitate to return. This time we had the whole family in tow, and we opted for one of the 4-Bedroom Beach Residences. And did Amilla deliver. I’ve found that normally hotels gradually decline over time (often imperceptibly but still steadily) — yet in this case the trend was upward. Amilla got better in every dimension: • The grounds and villas are cleaner, fresher, and appear to have undergone subtle but noticeable improvements. • The level of service is more personalised — the butler and guest-services team anticipated our needs rather than just responded. • The amenities are richer: more options for dining (the resort hosts eight restaurants with “Dine Around” flexibility). • Even the spa — the Javvu Spa — has been upgraded and expanded into a brand-new, beautifully designed complex. • Excursions and activities are more abundant and better curated: for example, you’re in the heart of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve of the Baa Atoll, giving access to outstanding snorkelling with manta rays and whale sharks. But where Amilla truly excelled and exceeded all my expectations was the people. The warmth, joy and genuine attentiveness of the staff was remarkable. The kind of connection you felt at every moment — helping you make the most of your stay, guiding you through activities, engaging with the children, remembering little preferences — all of that cannot happen unless the staff themselves are truly happy and empowered. And this is what impressed me most: Amilla seems to treat its employees well, and in return they offer impeccable service. Happy staff = happy guests. It’s a virtuous cycle. For our family, we found a “home away from home” in the Maldives — and we will absolutely return. Special and honest thanks • To Bella, our khateeb (butler) — you tended to our every need, guided us what to do and when, and became part of our holiday experience. My kids absolutely loved you, and thanks for being so kind to them. • To Mansa — the best server we encountered, so kind and attentive. • To Khalil, Alex, Kauser, and Syful — for amazing support on the beach and during breakfast, for being so kind with the kids through small gestures and fun games. • To the housekeeping team — for keeping our residence in pristine condition, and delivering top-tier turndown service. • To General Manager Morgan — for being so attentive and present throughout our stay. In short: yes, this resort delivers. The combination of space, nature, luxury service, and both relaxation + optional activities makes it standout. For a premium Maldives stay with your family with kids, it’s a very strong choice — especially if you appreciate high-quality design, excellent service, and being a bit off the beaten path (in the best possible sense). As Amilla's journey draws to a close. Everything went smoothly during my stay. The room is very large and clean. The room has excellent soundproofing, so I won't be disturbed at all when sleeping at night! The dining on the island is just what I wanted. Provided us with free diving equipment. Especially, thank you to our butler:Asad. He sends us our specific itinerary every day. Each trip booking is very quick. We called out to him in the group, and he responded very quickly. I recommend this island to everyone who wants to spend their honeymoon in Maldives.
