Viaje Hotel Downtown Cairo

Excellent experience at Viaje Hotel Downtown Cairo. The hotel was very clean, the elevator worked perfectly, and the location was ideal near restaurants, shops, and tourist attractions. The room looked exactly like the photos, and the air conditioning was strong and comfortable. The staff were professional, friendly, and always ready to help. Everything was organized and smooth from check-in to check-out. Definitely one of the best stays in Cairo!

For European standards this hotel is not to be recommended. We booked a deluxe suite with city view, which was supposed to have 2 bedrooms and a sittingroom with a sofa-bed for all 5 of us... check in was supposed to be at 12 noon. We arrived early and got told checkin isnt until 2pm. Then we got offered a room with no windows and 5 beds in a row! That did not suit us! Then we got offered 2 rooms on the same corridor, also no windows. In the end we got a suite with 2 bedrooms and windows with city views, no sitting room, nit even a chair or a table in any of the rooms, just beds, lights, TV, and a bathroom with no shower curtain, and tea and coffee-sachets we had to pay for. Nothing deluxe about this room!! To reach the hotel lobby you have to go up to 5th floor, there is a small lift, do take the lift, because the stairwell stinks terrible of cats pass and I was told is in a bit of a state, you dont want to experience it. Finishes in the rooms were rough, it seems they are not done with upgrades at all.

The pictures of the hotel showing very shine but the reality on direct view is different but according to money wise is not bad . Overall ok .

Great hotel in the heart of Cairo! The location made it easy to visit the Egyptian Museum and explore Downtown on foot. The room was spacious, very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and always greeted us with a smile. Everything looked exactly like the photos online.

Excellent value for money! The hotel is very clean, the beds are comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. The reception team was professional and helped me arrange an airport transfer and a city tour at a reasonable price. The breakfast was fresh and tasty, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and relaxing despite being in the city center. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Cairo.

The elevator worked perfectly, and the room was very clean with a fresh smell every day. I appreciated having a refrigerator, kettle, tea, and sugar in the room, which made my stay more comfortable. The bathroom was spotless with hot water available at all times. The bed was very comfortable, and the mattress and bed sheets were clean and fresh. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. Everything looked exactly like the photos online, and I would definitely stay here again.
