I stayed at Montagne Residence over the weekend and had a very pleasant experience. The staff were welcoming and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the facilities were well maintained. The double bedroom is nice; it is big, especially the bathroom. There's a huge bathtub and another area for an overhead shower, which is efficient. My room also contains a space to chill outside. What was mid was the pool. It is pretty small but still swimmable. However, their breakfast is delicious, and there is a lot of choice to choose from.

I've been here many times, and it's definitely one of my top picks in Kampot province. The value for money is exceptional, breakfast is delicious, and the surroundings are beautiful. As a self-proclaimed clean freak, I can confidently say their beds and linens are spotless, so I never experienced any itchiness – their hygiene is excellent. The only minor downside was that I kept getting calls from other rooms, with guests mistakenly thinking my room was the front desk.
