Wubuyashu Courtyard by West Street Yangshuo

This guesthouse is located within a villa complex, so the views are essentially of the villa area. However, considering the overall facilities, it offers great value for money. The location is also excellent, very close to West Street, the Yulong River rafting, and the gallery, making transportation convenient. Yangshuo's scenery is beautiful, and the Yulong River rafting is definitely worth experiencing.

When I first took a taxi from the pier to the hotel, I was a bit annoyed that we had to make two turns and go uphill to get there. But after exploring the surroundings a few times, I found the hotel to be quiet and elegant, with fresh air, and the stay experience was excellent. The hotel even offered complimentary afternoon tea: coffee, black tea, and small pastries, all of which tasted great (not the cheap kind). About 1 km downhill by foot or electric scooter, there's a good-sized fruit store, Zhao Yiming snacks, and a restaurant called Zui Jiang Xi Jiangxi Stir-fry (Shili Hualang Branch) which has really tasty food at affordable prices. The hotel also provides a simple breakfast. Don't hesitate to come; you won't be disappointed.

Finally had a chance to escape the city hustle and bustle, and chose this guesthouse nestled halfway up the mountain. Opening the window, I was greeted by an abundance of greenery, and woke up to the sound of birdsong instead of an alarm clock. The room had a natural wood design, so clean I felt comfortable walking barefoot on the floor. The bedding smelled of sunshine, clearly meticulously cared for. The owner even prepared pour-over coffee and local black tea. Sitting on the terrace, staring blankly for an entire afternoon, I felt completely re-energized. Next time I need to clear my head, I'll definitely come back here.

This is what they call afternoon tea? What a joke! We asked the staff where afternoon tea was served, and a bunch of people just pointed to a buffet. The hygiene was terrible, and the leather bed smelled awful and was covered in dust. Avoid this place at all costs!

This stay far exceeded my expectations, with outstanding facilities and service. Highlight two: The free traditional costume rental service was a unique local touch, and the clothes were clean and diverse in style, adding a lot of fun to our trip. Highlight three: The service team was well-trained; everyone from the front desk staff to the housekeeping aunties was warm, polite, and responded quickly. As for the environment, the design blends modern and ecological aesthetics, offering a quiet and private atmosphere. The cleanliness was impeccable, with every corner spotless. Regarding facilities, the air conditioning was powerful, the hot water supply stable, and the Wi-Fi smooth; all equipment worked perfectly. Overall, it's a high-quality hotel that genuinely considers the guest's perspective, offering excellent value for money. I would definitely recommend it to friends.

This stay exceeded my expectations. The entire place was meticulously clean, the bedding was soft and comfortable against the skin, and it was well-ventilated with no stuffy odors. The environment was quiet and comfortable, and the facilities were complete. I felt relaxed and at ease throughout my stay. It offers excellent value for money and I genuinely recommend it.

The hotel is located halfway up the mountain, so be careful not to scrape your car's undercarriage when driving up. Go slow, really slow. The room itself was quite spacious and even had a large bathtub, which would definitely be comfortable for a soak. Our kids are older now so they weren't too interested, but overall, the room facilities were a big plus.
