Manoir du Parc (Adults Only)

Elegant small hotel. The hosts are terrific, location just close enough to downtown but not noisy. Few hotels have pools, this one was very nice and a welcome respite from mid day heat.

The owners, Gaelle and Bruno, are grand hosts and are charming. This visit was our second, and if we return to Amboise, we will stay there again. The rooms in the manor house are spacious and well appointed. Breakfast is a must. Our hosts provided recommendations for dinner that were not tourist oriented, and helped us schedule a taxi to the railway station.

Where do I start? The place is perfectly situated. It’s in the middle of beautiful woods, but walking distance to fine chateaux and ambois itself - a gorgeous town complete wit markets and beautiful architecture and restaurants. The chalet is like a luxury tree house! It has a large jacuzzi underneath the main cabin and sun loungers. The bed is super king and super comfy. Air con, lovely tasteful decor with armchairs etc. a bottle of wine awaited us in the fridge in the compact kitchen. Bathroom a good size and a separate loo. Sitting outside in the trees on the balcony listening to the birds was paradise and I can’t think of a better way to relax. Breakfast provided at extra cost but we chose to do our own thing. The owners are a delight and super helpful with perfect English. We can’t fault this place and will be back. Utterly memorable.

Wonderful old stone mansion tastefully renovated and delightfully run by Gael and Bruno. They were helpful and attentive to all customer needs and excellent individualized breakfasts. A short walk to the castle Royal, restaurants and town services. The hotel has cabanas in the trees in the woods behind the property each with a hot tub. There is also a well cared for pool in a private area. Good car parking.

The location was in walking distance and free parking was great. We paid more for this experience than we paid anywhere else on the trip but staying in an old building that smelled musty with very creaky floors was not enjoyable. The bathroom was clean and modern. My sheets were stained/soiled. Stripped the bed and new sheets the next day were also stained. 😱Enough said.

Wonderful hotel/B&B. We were warmly welcomed into Madame’s home, which is beautifully decorated. Fantastic room and huge bathroom. The double bed was enormous and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was fresh croissant, pain au chocolat and bread plus delicious extras. Great location for exploring Amboise on foot. Highly recommend

Manoir du Parc is an exceptional hotel. It is a beautiful mansion with lovely high-ceilinged rooms and perfect French decor. It has a small private park and swimming pool. The owners, Gaelle and Bruno, are welcoming and helpful. The location is perfect—easy walking distance to the Loire and tourist center without the bustle.
