Tongling Yongquan Town

The house was quite clean, with two rooms, and very comfortable to stay in. The kids had a great time too; they enjoyed the hot springs, rode the cloud ladder and glass slide, grabbed red envelopes, and both won 30 copper coins playing the 'throwing the pot' game, which made them very happy. They even bought some souvenirs they liked. The scenery inside is beautiful and perfect for a vacation. The hotel shuttle can be hailed at any time, and the stay also includes tickets for the Twelve Scenes of Jiangnan and the hot springs, so there's no need to buy separate tickets. The food in the scenic area was decent, but it's worth asking for prices, as bottled water was surprisingly only two yuan each. For games, the dice rolling and 'throwing the pot' games on the mountain seemed easier to win than those at the bottom. Dice rolling was pretty easy to get, while 'throwing the pot' was more about luck. The hotel also offers a shuttle service to the station. Although the driver couldn't make it later, the hotel reimbursed me for the taxi fare, which was very responsible of them. Thumbs up!

Had a great stay, the room was very clean, and the town itself has lovely green surroundings. Being able to enjoy a hot spring bath right in the room was a huge plus! There are plenty of dining options in the town, and the 12 scenic spots are beautiful – no need to go all the way to Jiangnan. Very satisfied.

Traveling with family, we needed convenience and peace of mind for dining and accommodation. The hotel concierge was waiting for us at the station to arrange pickup and even helped carry our luggage to the room. The air conditioning and dehumidifier were already turned on, which was a very thoughtful touch. Breakfast was a buffet with a farmhouse style, and every dish was delicious, served in small portions to avoid waste. They had chicken soup, dumplings, beef noodles, sweet ginger, yogurt, and more. There's also a hot spring ♨️ and you can experience local life using copper coins or go hiking. Definitely recommended!

The service was great, and the room facilities were excellent. The toiletries were of good quality, and I especially loved the tea-scented aromatherapy in the room. It smelled wonderful. Downstairs, there's an activity center and a buffet. The buffet was also quite good, featuring local town specialties. The mung bean cakes and sesame cakes were delicious! The mini wontons were exceptionally tasty – a must-try, so fresh and fragrant!

Had a fantastic two-day, one-night trip to the town! The accommodation was absolutely excellent, couldn't have asked for better, and my family was very happy. The breakfast spread was also generous. All the staff, including the shuttle drivers, had wonderful service attitudes. Other service industries should really take a page from their book! There were plenty of activities too. I imagine the experience would be even better when the weather is cooler. I hope they continue to offer such great value for money in the future, so even us 'workhorses' can enjoy a taste of the good life!

The environment is great, perfect for families with kids, who absolutely loved it. However, the check-in and check-out times are unreasonable. Having to check in after 3 PM and check out before 12 PM for such an expensive hotel is really unfair. We barely had time to enjoy ourselves before needing to rush back to check out.

1. Poor Soundproofing (Structural Issue) The room C13-1308 shares a wall with the next room (or the one above), and normal conversations can be heard clearly. I suspect this scenic area was converted from an unfinished building project. 2. Greasy Food, Unpleasant Taste Both the hotel breakfast and the restaurants outside were too greasy and didn't taste good. I've had the hotel breakfast for two days now, and there are hardly any green vegetables. There's only one small bowl of greens at the noodle/vermicelli station, and once it's gone, it's never refilled... Whether you can get some seems to be a matter of luck? They can't keep up when it's busy. 3. Inadequate Night Tour Services The scenic area is open until 10:00 PM, but supporting services like games, drink shops, and convenience stores close earlier, leaving no amenities for night visitors. 4. Insufficient Downhill Signage and Safety Concerns Downhill signs are few and not clearly visible, and the lighting is inadequate, much worse than the uphill lighting, posing safety risks. 5. Inflexible Check-out Time (12:00 PM) The check-out time is too early (12:00 PM), while check-in is at 2:00 PM. This is inconvenient for inter-provincial travelers, especially those with children, making time management awkward, particularly concerning showering and safety. 6. Limited Accommodation Capacity/Capability The overall arrangements seem more geared towards short-haul, provincial visitors, resulting in a poor experience for inter-provincial or family travelers with children. 7. Comparison and Recommendation The author suggests prioritizing a stay at the Liqiao Scenic Area in Tongling and expresses regret about choosing Yongquan Town.

It was a great deal to be able to enter the 'Recalling Jiangnan 12 Sceneries' twice during our stay (though we only did the night tour due to time constraints). The facilities were well-maintained, and the common areas were clean. The front desk service was quick and friendly. Overall, the experience exceeded our expectations. The town itself was worth a full day of exploring, and the complimentary breakfast was also very good!

Facilities: Quite comprehensive. Cleanliness: Pretty clean. Environment: The room itself was fine; it's a new building. However, across the way, there are temporary construction site buildings. Service: Very good, responses were prompt. I wasn't a fan of the slide in the scenic area. It's just a long slide. My two boys, one 1.4m and the other 1.53m, had adult tickets purchased for them, but they still insisted that an accompanying adult buy another ticket to go with them.
