The room was very good, modern and clean. We had a corner room with balcony, shower, bath and view over the river and Sun & Moon Pagodas, which was very good.Comfy bed. It was missing USB-C chargers but had standard USB. Very nice switch descriptors and "switch everything off" switches by the bed. Good toiletries. Breakfast was very good especially the chef-manned Guilin noodle station. The location was great only minutes from the pedestrian road, riverside, twin pagodas and elephant trunk hill. You can watch local residents doing tai chi by the river while having your breakfast on the outdoors terrace. View from the rooftop was also very good but no bar service there. The only downside was the gym, just a stationary bike and a bench (with no weights!) and the room was shared with the children's play area. Everything else was good.

Staff is super helpful in guiding you on where to go and what to see. They also have a tour booking desk (at least for our ticket to Ruoyi Peak was -20CNY per person from the original price)
