A delightful Chateau with warm and kind hosts in Martine and Jean-Marie. The accommodation is beautiful, each room being unique and beautifully decorated. We travelled with family including several children. There were a few rooms which had adjoining rooms for the children which was really handy. Our toddlers loved the 'secret passages' and thought that we were staying in a 'Magical Castle' The pool is lovely and heated, the grounds and vineyards are lovely and the wine was not to bad either! There is plenty to entertain everyone with a swimming pool, trampoline, swing, ping pong, tennis courts, pool table, boules, board games, books and much more. Martine kindly put us in touch with a fantastic local caterer who prepared an evening meal for a family celebration and was generally helpful in every way. We also drove to the easily accessible beaches at Bezieres and Narbonne as well as taking a trip to the walled city of Carcassonne. There are several lovely restaurants in the vicinity and again, Martine and Jean-Marie were very helpful in making recommendations and providing information. The Chateau, despite it being grand and impressive, retains a homely feel. It is obviously well loved and cared for. Definitely a fantastic place for a gathering of family or friends.
