Check in and check out can be fully automated, but there are also receptionist in the lobby. Has public bath on the first floor with Mikimoto based body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Just a few steps from the pedestrian lane crossing the street on the Hachijodori side of the Kyoto station, and one block away from the bus stop to the Itami and Kansai Airport Limousine Bus. Room size is fairly typical of the room sizes in the area. Offers breakfast for Yen 1,980.

The hotel's location is excellent. You just take the escalator down from Hachijo Exit of Kyoto Station, cross the road, and you're there. It's also less than a 5-minute walk to the Kansai Airport bus stop. The room itself is really small, but it has everything you need. On the other hand, the bathroom is surprisingly spacious, making for a comfortable shower, though the bathtub is tiny – you can't even stretch your legs out. Plus, the free matcha downstairs is absolutely delicious.

The room isn't huge, and the sink area is quite small. However, the location is truly excellent. When you open the curtains, you can see the JR station right across the street. There's a bus terminal directly opposite, which is super convenient for getting around Kyoto, and there's also a shopping district nearby. The yakiniku and ramen restaurants downstairs are both pretty good. The hotel also has a public onsen, which I unfortunately didn't get to experience as the timings didn't work out. They also offer matcha and ice cream. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

We stayed here for two nights and had a very comfortable experience. The hotel is very close to Kyoto Station, which made getting around Kyoto extremely easy. The onsen was a great bonus and perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The area is also surrounded by shopping malls, restaurants, and the train station, making it very convenient for both dining and travel. Overall, a very nice and comfy stay—highly recommended.
