The Wedding Cake House

I loved this house it was very quirky. The bed and room was very clean and comfy. The host Cole was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was very nice too. It is near to nice coffee shops and cafe's and not too far to walk to the main town of providence. It also has a lovely garden with tables if you just want to chill out in the garden for a bit.

If you like cockroaches, this is your kind of place. We killed them in the dining room. Breakfast is a big disappointment. This is not a standard B&B. Storm windows banging in the wind at night keeps you up. There is no TV. It’s not clean. The shower is rain head only with creepy tile design. Creaky floors and thin walls make it a noisy place. I’m not sure if the 5 star reviews I saw here are legit? But it did suck me in, but you have been warned by an honest review. We stay in B&Bs often and we left after one night. It was that bad. Of course there was no refund on pre-paid 2nd night when we were told a manager would call. Never happened. No surprise. Filter for the 1 star reviews. I read most of them now and they are accurate but buried by these hard to believe 5 star reviews. No experienced traveler would ever rate this place that high. Never! Beware!

Comfortable b&b that helps support female artists in the area. We had Room 4, which is spacious with terrific furniture. The shower stall was lined with colorful tiles; the bathroom had an adjustable fluorescent lite--one of the settings was a soft blue lite for nitetime. Complete your breakfast card in the main room by 8 pm. Secure keypad main entry to the building on Tobey St. The building faces Broadway, so if your room is on that side, it'll be noisy (ours was on the back side). Patio outside for eating or relaxing in nice weather. A lot of restaurants in downtown PVD, some within walking distance.

Lovely historic building renovated into a lovely small inn. Beautifully appointed rooms, Delish breakfast and a quick drive to downtown. Providence is a really fun walkable city!

Room was nice. The property was really interesting (old house). Breakfast room was very charming. The actual breakfast was a bit underwhelming, but overall the place was as advertised.

Great Providence stay My son and I enjoyed our stay at this beautifully restored house. Breakfast was good. Dinner recommendations were great. Zoe accommodated us easily. Would definitely stay here again.

House is historic and eclectic. Rooms are very private. Complimentary breakfast was great. Staff is amazing. Parking was included. Neighborhood has plenty of restaurants and social spots within walking distance. Only negative was no tv in room.

Stayed in room six. Everything was good, but I wish the room had a curtain as it made it more difficult to sleep.

Our host, Anna, met us at the door and gave us a personal tour when we arrived. Very informative!
