Great location, right next to the train station. The only down side is limited choice of restaurants nearby even at the train station. Better to have breakfast and dinner at the hotel, mind its business hours though. Or drive 3.5km to a nearest yakiniku restaurant.

Was a very accessible place right next to the station. Good for catching early morning trains. Took a family room. Was spacious for 3. Water is hot and convenience store downstairs.

This hotel is right next to Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto JR Station, making it perfect for a layover when traveling by Shinkansen from Tokyo to Hakodate. It's a business hotel, but the facilities and service are excellent, and they even have a hot spring bath.

Largest hotel room I've seen in Japan at my price point. Rooms are a bit Spartan and could do with a repaint due guests carelessness with cases marking the walls but cleanliness is up to the usual standard for Japan. Only downside for me was the use of buckwheat pillows on the beds which are shall we say are a bit on the firm side.

The hotel is quite far from Hakodate's attractions, and it's really just a place to sleep. There are almost no facilities nearby. What I found most baffling was that they don't clean your room if you stay for two nights; they only offer to replace the bath towels. That's a deal-breaker for me.
