Hotel La'gent Plaza Hakodate Hokuto

One minute walk from Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto Station. The front desk is on the second floor, and there are hot springs available.

Easy access from Hakodate-Hokuto Station, allowing for a smooth check-in without getting wet from the rain. Amenities were well-stocked, and snacks could be purchased at the shop on the first floor of the same building. Breakfast offered a wide variety of side dishes and local Hakodate specialties. The public bath was spacious and clean, making for a thoroughly satisfying stay!

We booked a plan that included a delicious breakfast buffet. It was hard to find a room for a family of four adults to stay together, but even though it wasn't very spacious, it had two beds and two futons, just as we requested. The price was also kept low, so we were very satisfied!

The front desk staff were friendly, and I was satisfied with the public bath, amenities, and facilities. However, the cleanliness of the room was simply unacceptable. The toilet smelled, the bathroom had a mildewy odor, and the bathtub and shower curtain were dirty, which was very unpleasant.

The hotel facilities were quite basic and felt old overall. It didn't give the impression of a hotel less than 10 years old. The amenities also felt a bit cheap, and there was a discrepancy between the actual room and the photos online. Honestly, I'm a bit puzzled why it's rated 4 stars. Also, check-in was stated as 3 PM, but when I arrived around 2:30 PM, the room seemed to already be cleaned. Despite this, I still had to wait in the lobby until 3 PM, which felt a bit inflexible.
