Moshang Jiuxi Homestay(Hangzhou West Lake Branch)

The B&B's location is superb, right next to the Nine Creeks and Eighteen Gullies, making for a very pleasant stroll. Our family booked two room types: a king room and a loft, both of which were very clean and tidy. The butler service was excellent, always ready to answer any questions. We even brought our dog, and they thoughtfully provided dog pads and disposable food bowls. Breakfast was Chinese style, with餛飩 (wonton) and noodles, millet porridge and plain congee, sweet potato, corn, small meat buns, etc. – all of good quality. We received welcome fruits upon check-in and a complimentary sweet soup in the evening. The B&B also has ink and brushes for writing the 'Jixiang Sutra' (Auspicious Sutra), and a large tea table for brewing tea. There's a big record player with several classic albums, plus a variety of books. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to read them as our daily itinerary was packed. We'll just have to save that for our next stay in Hangzhou… All in all, this stay was very satisfying. Thumbs up!👍

The view is fantastic, with a big tree outside the floor-to-ceiling window overlooking a tea plantation. There's a small stream behind the hotel, perfect for kids to play in. The whole place feels very cozy, and we were upgraded to a loft room on the second floor, which the kids absolutely loved. They even offered mung bean soup in the evening, which was a thoughtful touch.

First time staying here, and the family room exceeded our expectations. The surrounding environment was surprisingly beautiful, and the hotel's service was incredibly warm and thoughtful. The design is fantastic. I'd love to come back again. The nearby tea mountains, shady trees, and streams are just gorgeous!

This hotel is located right inside the scenic area, next to a tea plantation. It's not a far walk to the Eighteen Brooks, and if you don't feel like walking, you can also take the scenic area's electric shuttle, which is very convenient. Highly recommended! 👍

The overall experience exceeded my expectations. It's a quiet and peaceful environment, with excellent natural light and ventilation. The facilities are complete and well-maintained, and the cleaning staff did a meticulous job. Great value for money, highly recommend!

The scenery is beautiful, and the view from the window is absolutely stunning! Awesome, I'll definitely come again next time!

This was my second visit, mainly because my child really likes it; otherwise, I probably wouldn't have returned. The absolute worst part was the terrible smell from the drain, which was so bad it kept me from sleeping at night. For such a high room rate, the hotel has a responsibility to fix issues like this, perhaps by installing an odor-proof floor drain. The corn and sweet potatoes at breakfast were unappetizing, and there weren't any vegetables available. Other issues, like the dampness, were actively addressed with a dehumidifier, which was good. The environment is undeniably excellent, and the location is absolutely top-notch. Rooms on the second floor might be better. If I see similar complaints in reviews, I won't be coming back next year.
