Shushe Shanse Hotel (Yangshuo West Street)

Great location, and the room was clean, bright, and well-maintained. The front desk staff were also incredibly helpful and welcoming. The best part is that with all these positives, the price was still fantastic! I highly recommend it! 👍👍👍

The room was very clean, and every staff member provided excellent service, always warmly helping with our luggage. We rented a small electric scooter directly from the hotel, which saved us a lot of hassle and effort. We stayed here for two nights during our Yangshuo trip, and I'll definitely choose Treehouse again if I come back to Yangshuo.

Huge thanks to the front desk for upgrading me to a balcony room. It faced the street, with a great view of the mountains in the distance. The restaurant across the street had pretty loud music playing, and I initially thought it would be noisy, but at night, after closing the balcony door and drawing the curtains, it was just as the front desk said – not noisy at all, and I slept really well. The shower had excellent water pressure, and the shampoo and shower gel were from reputable brands, making for a very comfortable shower. In the afternoon, lying in bed, watching the white sheer curtains sway in the breeze and light filtering through the blinds, the lively street sounds reminded me of Marguerite Duras's film, 'The Lover.' What a beautiful scene. Good sleep, good shower, and impressive cleanliness. Thumbs up!

The hotel front desk service was fantastic! They offer affordable and convenient electric scooters. The room was also very clean and had a beautiful view. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied.

First off, the room the front desk staff initially assigned us had a strange smell. After some back and forth, he reluctantly moved us to a third room, which was much better. He even upgraded us to a room with a balcony for free, which we were very happy with; the sunlight was great. The location is also excellent, and renting a car was cheap. It was a very pleasant trip overall.

My family traveled from Guilin to Yangshuo, and I drove there. I arrived early and spent two hours looking for a hotel. Just as my patience was wearing thin, I found this place. The room was very clean, with large windows offering mountain views. The staff were very welcoming and even offered a discount on electric scooter rentals. You can also buy tickets for attractions like 'Romantic Show of Guilin' at the hotel, and they're much cheaper! I only found this out after spending nearly 500 more elsewhere... felt like a huge loss. Overall, it was a great stay and a good trip.
