The Hidden House Hotel(Chengdu Chunxi Road Luomashi Subway Station)

The room was very dirty, and the air conditioning was so loud that I felt itchy all over after sleeping.

The hygiene was acceptable, and the room was quite large but had no windows, which made it a bit stuffy.

For my two short trips to Chengdu, I chose the Yincitang both times. My first stay left me feeling that it perfectly blended southern charm with the demands of a modern hotel. From the views and room design to the service and daily necessities, it's ideal for family travel, and perfectly suitable for couples or business trips too. What really surprised me was its location. It's a well-established local Chengdu hotel chain, and every branch is conveniently located for easy access while still letting you experience the authentic local flavor of Chengdu. It's not noisy, yet within comfortable walking distance to popular attractions. This not only saves on transportation costs but, more importantly, saves precious time during holidays when traffic jams are frequent!

This felt more like an apartment. The room was on the 5th floor and looked quite large. However, Chengdu was extremely hot during my stay, and I was told that since it wasn't 'the season yet,' the AC couldn't be turned on. So, even though it was scorching hot, they wouldn't switch on the cool air, making the air conditioner just a decoration. This was especially bad in the small room which had no windows; I had to request a fan. The living room and main bedroom had small windows that couldn't be fully opened. Our whole family woke up sweating even without blankets. I regretted staying for two nights. Although the price was decent and there were a good number of amenities, shouldn't they consider the most basic issue? What's the point of good service if the fundamental hardware problems aren't addressed? I won't be considering this place again.

It was decent, nothing spectacular. The location requires a bit of a walk, which I found quite tiring. The room type was average; definitely wouldn't recommend one without a window. The facilities were just okay, but the service was very thoughtful, which is a plus.

The hotel's location is super convenient, and the room was spotless with really comfy bedding. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive, and the breakfast spread was excellent. It's fantastic value for money, and I felt completely at ease staying there. I'll definitely choose this place again next time!
