A beautiful curated grand guest house close to the grande Socco. Beautiful features, stylish and wonderful people hosting. We loved our stay here recently when I celebrated my 69 th birthday . They helped make it such a beautiful occasion. The dinner in was delicious. We highly recommend a stay here.

What a fantastic place to stay! This boutique riad is super chic and expertly styled, yet really homely and personal. I arrived mid-evening to an enthusiastic greeting from the fantastically charismatic, madcap evening manager, Sami, who alongside others, was all decked out for Halloween! Within moments we were sharing travel tales and cocktails on the rooftop. The Maison has such a wonderful vibe - laid back and boho, but well heeled, and proficiently managed. All the staff are friendly and speak good English, and I also really appreciated the prompt and helpful response to pre-stay emails. Additionally, the hotel arranged competitively priced transfers from the airport and for my onward travel. Dinner can be arranged, pre-ordered from a concise selection of local dishes. Alternatively, you can get a cheeseboard. Meals are taken either in the cosy lounge, leafy garden, or intimate rooftop overlooking the city. Food was nothing to write home about, I’d probably opt for a cheeseboard next time, but regardless, I had a highly memorable evening and fabulous stay overall. Breakfast was a simple buffet with the offer of cooked eggs, priced at €10. My suite, No4, was absolutely stunning, a sumptuous, cosseting room, styled with exotic flair and myriad chic touches. This room boasts large windows/patio doors, and a spacious terrace overlooking the garden and surrounding rooftops. The hotel has a dinky outdoor pool and its own hammam. The location is superb, slightly elevated, but just minutes walk to the Grand Socco and Medina. I would return in a heartbeat to this charming and oh so ambient hotel, and would highly recommend it.

This is a great, very comfortable hotel. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. We had lost luggage getting to Tangier, and the manager of the hotel, Sandra!, was instrumental in helping us recover it. The restaurant recommendations were spot on. And the taxi driver the hotel got for us the first day became our driver for the whole visit. We had two lovely rooms that were out of the ordinary, quiet, and comfortable.

Driving up to the street, and seeing an 'under-construction' building, I have to admit I was a little apprehensive. But ... we backed the car up, found the correct little street, and pulled up to an absolutely charming home. I say "home" because it had such a lived in quality about it. Comfortable. Charming. Welcoming. We were greeted by Valerie who couldn't have been more helpful. Our room was gorgeous, with its separate office. The gardens and roof top terrace of this little oasis were where we spent our time. Breakfast was the best of all the places we stayed during our 11 day trip around Morocco. And I want the recipe for those eggs! LOL Can't recommend this haven more.

What a find. Great communication before we arrived. They arranged a taxi to collect us from the airport. The location is very central. The whole set up and decor is very relaxing. Breakfasts were delicious but most importantly it is the warmth of the welcome - the hugs are free and plentiful I MEAN it. Alex was ‘At Home’ when we were there and he gives great hugs if you want them. Sandra also. Just lovely to meet warm humans.

Lovely, elegant boutique hotel located within walking distance of the Grand Socco square. The view from the private terrace of the suite is amazing! I really appreciated the room heating during my January stay, as well as the parking place in front of the house, the charming open fireplace in the cosy lounge, and the (delicious!) breakfast arranged for my early morning check-out before the official breakfast time. The team was incredibly kind and helpful both before my arrival and throughout my stay. Thank you so much, Sandra and Zakaria!

This charming hotel is a real oasis in the middle of Tangier. The staff are all wonderful, particularly the lovely Sandra who looked after our every need. Breakfast is fresh and plentiful and is served until a very civilised 11am. The owners are a charming Canadian couple who are very welcoming and happy to chat and give hints and tips about the area. The rooms are very well appointed, comfortable beds and a nice ensuite. There is a Nespresso machine in the room but strangely apart from 2 Nespresso pods provided on the first day, they were not replenished. The WiFi was very good, throughout the hotel. We didn't try the pool but it looked nice. I did have a massage which was lovely. We had dinner 2 nights and it was great, tasty food, great service from Yasseen (?) and good wine. There isn't a lift which is a bit of a drawback if you are on the 2nd floor but the staff will help with your luggage. I definitely recommend this hotel and if we return to Tangiers we would stay here again.

Really disappointed stay unfortunately. We have stayed in Tangier many times before and have always enjoyed our accommodation. We were excited to try this place but sadly it was very underwhelming. The staff have zero interest in their guests, you almost apologise for disturbing them, the female manager slouched on the sofa scrolling on her phone and not in the least bit interested in her clients, the man behind reception has a short fuse, best not disturb him. Dinner is definitely not to be recommended, it’s expensive ( for Tangier ) if you are hungry sadly you will go to bed hungry. The property could be so lovely, its tired and not maintained very well, 3 of the 4 lights in our room didn’t work and so it goes. Breakfast was just ok but disappointing by Moroccan standards.
