Anantara Chiang Mai Serviced Suites

The 65-square-meter one-bedroom unit felt a bit cramped. The washing machine looked ancient and didn't have a self-cleaning function, so it was too dirty to even consider using – essentially, it was just there for show. As for the 'kitchen,' it was just an induction hob, tiny enough for only boiling some porridge or blanching a few greens, and nothing more.

This is my third stay at Anantara, including this one… I absolutely love it! The location is superb, right next to Anura Market, and there's a small convenience store and a large supermarket nearby… making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. The hotel has guest rooms and suites, separated only by a street. Personally, I felt the guest rooms had a more inviting atmosphere; lying down and looking at the trees was so comfortable… The suites are more suitable for families and friends, allowing for a lively gathering while still providing adequate accommodation… It depends on your individual needs… The breakfast selection is comprehensive and caters to most preferences; having breakfast by the river is the most relaxing… I would choose this hotel again no matter how many times I visit…

Hygiene: The room smells and the towels are a bit yellow; Swimming pool: The stone of the swimming pool has fallen off and has not been repaired in time; Breakfast: Living in service suites, there is no breakfast here. You need to cross a road and go to the breakfast room in the hotel opposite to have breakfast. It takes a long walk and is very inconvenient; Room: The sofa, coffee table, and TV cabinet are squeezed together, and there is no place to put your legs. The space planning is problematic; Charge: I stayed for a total of two days. On the second day, the disposable slippers got wet, so I asked for two more pairs of disposable slippers and charged 500 baht. I was very disappointed. The room fee is more than 50,000 baht a day, and disposable slippers are charged. Service: The name is Service Suites, but there is actually no service. The service staff is basically only one person at the front desk. When I booked, I thought it was more expensive than the resort and the check-in experience would be better, but in fact the experience was too bad.

The service at the Poetry Apartment Hotel is excellent, the rooms are large and quiet, with kitchenware and washing machines and dryers, and laundry balls are provided, etc. Breakfast is at the Anantara Resort Hotel across the road, and the food is very rich.

To be honest, it's rare that I don't give a good review. In a few aspects, the room facilities are a bit old, the hair dryer is old, the suite has only one bathroom, and there is not even a sink and hand towel, which is quite rare. The quality and attitude of the staff are uneven, generally good, but the attitude of some service staff is obviously problematic. Low cost performance, I won't go there again.

The breakfast is good, but the price/performance ratio is too poor. The suite hotel is located on the roadside, noisy, and the facilities are only worth 1/3 of the price. Avoid

The hotel is not big, the location is OK, the price is not cheap, I think the cost performance is not high
