We had an exceptional stay at J Apartments in Guangzhou. From the moment we arrived, check-in was smooth, quick, and completely hassle-free. The staff were amazing—incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with a warm smile. Arriving in our room to find a complimentary bottle of wine was such a generous, thoughtful touch that immediately made us feel at home. The apartment itself offered a truly brilliant view of the city skyline, which was breathtaking to look out over, especially once everything lit up at night. Throughout our stay, the housekeeping team did a fantastic job, ensuring everything remained spotless, fresh, and properly stocked every single day. The location could not be better. Its position is perfect for getting around Guangzhou, offering easy access to transport, great food options, and key sights while still serving as a comfortable retreat to recharge. Between the hospitality, pristine cleanliness, and standout views, J Apartments exceeded our expectations. We would not hesitate to book here again and thoroughly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

A very good hotel! I read some of the reviews before coming and honestly felt a little worried, but the hotel turned out to be absolutely wonderful. I had a great stay and would definitely recommend it.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely lovely, featuring breathtaking CBD views and impeccable service from start to finish. From a seamless check-in to a smooth check-out, it easily became our favourite stay in GZ! A wonderful bonus was the complimentary afternoon tea set included in our booking, it was simply delightful and beautifully presented. We also really appreciated the smart toilets, which were a thoughtful touch and especially helpful for Muslim travellers. The breakfast buffet offered decent vegetarian choices, though I would suggest adding more halal-certified options and increasing the overall variety of food to make it perfect. Still, we left thoroughly impressed and would highly recommend it!

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious food, and the location was excellent, close to public transportation and many tourist attractions. The overall atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and convenient place to stay, and I would definitely visit again in the future.

Not much in terms of facilities… just one gym. Location-wise, there are no restaurants or convenience stores nearby.

I’ve stayed at J Residence many times, and every visit reminds me why I keep coming back. This place is truly a hidden gem. What makes it so special isn’t just the property—it’s the people. Every time I return, I’m welcomed by the same friendly faces. Even the wonderful housekeeper who cleans my room has been there every stay, and that consistency makes me genuinely feel at home. The location is simply unbeatable. Within a short walk you’ll find everything you could possibly need: fast food, excellent local Chinese restaurants, upscale dining, Michelin-starred restaurants, supermarkets, luxury shopping malls, and a beautiful park that’s perfect for an evening walk. In my opinion, it’s the best location in Guangzhou. A special thank you to Kayee, the manager. He is absolutely exceptional. Even on his days off, he always makes himself available to help with anything you need. That level of care and dedication is incredibly rare. Over the time, he has become not just a fantastic manager, but also a friend and an amazing human being. My stays in Guangzhou are typically two to three weeks at a time, and I can honestly say there is no hotel—five-star or otherwise—that I would choose over J Residence. It offers something that luxury hotels often cannot: genuine hospitality, comfort, and the feeling that you’re coming home. If you’re looking for a place that will exceed your expectations, I cannot recommend J Residence highly enough.
