We have been in Iceland for almost 10 days before dropping by this hotel. Not to mention on the price worthy, the services are not up to this standard. We had late check in during winter, waiting for more than 50mins to get our room.
The hot tub always drained out and have to keep calling them to filled up and turned on. And always there's a wait! Winter is so cold, and we waited till it getting so windy, and finally we gave up to get into the hot tub! And you have to walk on your feet to find your unit, even during cold winter! No buggy service, it is chargeable if you required the service.
The restaurant's waiter is terrible, during breakfast there was one lady clearing up "looked like emptied" plate like a vacuum cleaner, not even a polite greet or at least ask before she took it. And not to mentioning the dinner experience, it is not cheap like other European countries, but the service is like many other regular cafes, not a fine restaurant, at such a 4 stars hotel at all!
We took a selfie by ourselves by putting our phone at a almost-joint table next to us, there were still plenty of available seats, but a waitress came near with her new customers, and looking at we were in the midst of snapping a photo, she asked us to take it away! Then she seated her customer and just went away. Couldn't understand the attitude we should endure as also a customer! At least you can assist to take a picture since you ruined the moment, for only 2 seconds! She's real rude and arrogant.
We're not going back to this hotel, will not recommend!
