Convenient location, but not ideal for a honeymoon
There were some positive aspects of our stay. The honeymoon welcome was thoughtful and appreciated, and the location was convenient as the hotel is close to Plaza Lagoi.
However, unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet our expectations. The bedding felt damp, and noise was a major issue. We could hear a lot of noise from outside as well as from the corridor, which made the room feel less peaceful and private than we had hoped.
The hotel also felt somewhat difficult to maintain properly given the large number of guests. The swimming pool water did not seem very clean, and the most concerning experience was at breakfast, where we noticed a spider and a spider web around the cereal bowl area. This was quite surprising and made us concerned about cleanliness.
The beach area could also be better maintained. There was a lot of seaweed, shells, and debris underfoot, and the overall condition of the beach was noticeably different from another resort located only a short distance away.
We noticed that many guests seemed to be visiting for business or traveling with families, and the hotel may be well suited for those purposes. However, as a couple on our honeymoon looking for a quiet, private, and relaxing resort experience, we felt that it was not the right fit for us.
We appreciated the warm honeymoon welcome and convenient location, but we hope more attention can be given to cleanliness, maintenance, soundproofing, and the overall guest environment.
