I have stayed in more than my fair share of luxury hotels. La Residencia was one of the very best.

We recently had the pleasure of staying here to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary and it was everything we needed and more. Without a doubt, it was the most beautiful, peaceful and relaxing hotel we’ve ever stayed at. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely welcomed and taken care of The service throughout our stay was exceptional. Every member of staff was friendly, professional and generally happy to help, which is a credit to the hotel. A special mention has to go to the pool attendants , gardeners, cleaners and the maintenance team who work tirelessly ensuring all areas of the hotel are immaculate. The breakfast and barbecues are outstanding, with excellent quality and plenty of choice Thank you to everyone for making our holiday so memorable. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful, luxurious getaway, we look forward to returning in the future.

Another exceptional stay at this lovely hotel. Each time I visit is like coming home. Staff are so nice, I would especially like to mention Stephanie and Pilli who always have a lovely welcome when I come back.

Just returned from this beautiful oasis. It was our first visit, and we quickly understood why so many guests were returning couples who have been coming back for years. The hotel is elegant and sophisticated, with all the amenities you would expect from a five-star property. What truly sets it apart, however, is the exceptional service. Every member of staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our stay. One of my favourite touches was the little coffee bar set up by the pool each morning — such a thoughtful addition and a lovely way to start the day. The pool area is well sized for the number of guests, although there were still a few people reserving sunbeds before 7am! The pool staff were always on hand to top up drinks and serve snacks and lunch. The gym was exceptionally well equipped, and the thalasso therapy pool was a wonderful treat at the end of the day. Overall, a fantastic hotel experience. We will definitely be back!

The Residencia is a tranquil haven, one of those rare places to which we have returned for a number of years. The accommodation is first class but the outstanding aspect of this hotel is the staff who go out of their way to make a holiday the best it can be.

from the time we arrived until the time we left it was shear pleasure! The staff is exceptional, the service was impeccable, the room was beautiful and the food was excellent. We have stayed at many 5 star hotels but this was beyond fabulous. Our only regret was that it was too short a stay!!!

This is an absolute gem of a hotel. On arrival one is immediately thrown into a haven of luxury and tranquility. The staff are exceptionally helpful , a special call-out out to Eros. The rooms are large with many thoughtful touches. The grounds are beautifully tended and have a Caribbean feel to them. The food is absolutely outstanding in both the pool bar and the main restaurant, which is situated on a a beautifully lit verandah overlooking the pool. I’m just so glad we opted for half board!! To top it all everywhere is SPOTLESSLY clean and inviting. I was so relaxed I actually couldn’t stay awake after about 10pm!!! , That said we did manage a couple of night s in the piano bar where one night we were entertained by the most amazing saxophonist. This is most definitely not a hotel for children, but for anyone middle aged or above you will LOVE it. Needless to say we will be coming back next year only for longer!!
