We stayed four nights before New Year's in a family room with one double bed and an extra single bed, room number B1, with a pool view. The hotel is three stars, but looks better than many four-star hotels. The grounds are very compact, but well-designed and cozy. There's a large, deep pool surrounded by flowers and trees—very beautiful. The room itself consists of two parts: first, you enter the kitchen-hallway (there's a full-size refrigerator, dishes, a small stove, a table, chairs, a microwave, and a toaster). Then there's the bedroom, with two beds, and a gorgeous large balcony overlooking the pool. The bathroom has a conveniently enclosed shower, good water pressure, and hot water. Amenities include liquid soap, shampoo, and shower gel. Towels for the pool and the beach are available at reception. The hotel doesn't offer breakfast, but there are plenty of cafes nearby, including a mini-Big C and a 7/11 just down the street. We really liked the hotel; indeed, as many have mentioned, it looks better than the photos. The only downside is the noisy air conditioner, but that's apparently a common problem in Thailand. Otherwise, everything was great.
