Legendale Hotel Beijing

The most beautiful European-style hotel in Beijing! The lobby, restaurant, and rooms are all very spacious. The service is exceptional; all staff members are respectful, friendly, and attentive to guests. The breakfast is abundant with main courses rotating daily. Although it's an 18-year-old building, it's very well-maintained, and the facilities are comprehensive with a strong vintage feel. I stayed in room 507, which was very quiet. The housekeeping staff are well-presented, professional, and do an excellent job cleaning! Highly commendable.

Traveling to Beijing for a business trip, I needed a hotel close to Tiananmen Square and 1949 The Hidden City (Quanjude). As an InterContinental Platinum member, I used to stay at the Regent, but now I've switched to the Legendale. The location is excellent, it offers great value for money, and I was pleasantly surprised with a suite upgrade. The amenities in the room are high quality, no expense spared, giving off a vibe of upward mobility. The breakfast fruit was delicious, and the room itself was very well-maintained. My only minor complaint is that the hairdryer isn't a newer model; I hope they can update it soon.

Check-in was pretty quick, but the staff at the hotel entrance didn't proactively offer to open the car door. The person by the elevator kept asking if we were registered guests, which felt a bit intrusive. The room facilities show some signs of age, but it's still acceptable.

Facilities: This was great! The bed was huge! Much better than many other hotels. A really good choice if you're traveling with kids. The bathroom was also spacious. Cleanliness: The cleanliness was decent. However, the food hygiene needs improvement; I found a hair in it. Environment: The environment was quiet and the soundproofing was good. Service: We arrived at 2 AM, and there was no one at the entrance! Only one front desk staff member, which didn't feel great. There was no one outside to help with luggage or open the door at night. This definitely needs improvement.

The location is good, but the facilities are old and the air conditioning is incredibly loud. The drain was clogged, so the water wouldn't go down. I had to shower anyway, and the entire bathroom flooded. It was only after I called for help that it was resolved. Sigh! On the bright side, the cleaning staff did an excellent job and deserve praise!

This hotel is located in the heart of Jinbao Street in Dongcheng, just a 10-minute walk from Wangfujing and a short bike ride to the East Gate of the Forbidden City. It's surrounded by luxury boutiques and traditional hutongs, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and sightseeing. The European architectural style is very photogenic and creates a fantastic atmosphere. The hotel boasts a rare French Baroque palace design, featuring a soaring atrium, gilded corridors, gigantic crystal chandeliers, a vintage spiral staircase, and antique fireplaces everywhere you look. It's filled with European antique furniture and oil paintings, creating an incredibly atmospheric and Instagrammable setting. Many international guests stay here, and the overall experience is excellent. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Beijing.

The room was really unique, with a strong European vibe. My stay was quite comfortable overall; the bed was spacious and soft, and the bathroom was large and very clean. Of course, the biggest draw of this place is definitely its Instagrammable spots (as shown in picture four).
