Conrad Jiuzhaigou

Everything was great, except for the lack of a kids' play area. The shared Hilton kids' play area was also quite lacking, with hardly any toys and feeling very empty.

Stayed for three nights, it was a very comfortable experience. From the front desk, concierge, and service center to the restaurant, you could feel that every staff member was trying their best to provide excellent service. Although the breakfast selection wasn't huge, it covered all the basics. As a bread lover, I was pleasantly surprised that the bread exceeded the standard of most five-star hotels – excellent!

Facilities: The hardware facilities are quite complete, and the room space is also very large. You can also sit on the balcony and enjoy the view. The curtains were a bit difficult to pull. Hygiene: Very clean, no strange smells, and plenty of toiletries were replenished during cleaning. Environment: Excellent. The high-floor scenic room directly faces the mountains, and just sitting on the sofa and daydreaming feels very relaxing. Service: The attitude was very good, and there was also a sightseeing car for pick-up and drop-off. Even when encountering staff while walking, they would proactively ask if a car was needed. The only downsides were that the restaurant was a bit small, so you had to queue if you went a little late, and the breakfast variety wasn't extensive enough.

Overall, for a hotel located within a scenic area and considering its price point, it's acceptable, but there's nothing particularly surprising or amazing about it. You can tell they put effort into designing and creating a certain ambiance. However, as a hotel, the focus should really be on guest comfort, such as indoor cleanliness and the quality of the bedding, etc.

Our stay at Conrad Jiuzhaigou was exceptional, and I have to give Kari from Guest Relations a five-star rating! He was professional and enthusiastic throughout, providing meticulous service that truly anticipated our needs. Highly recommend – you can't go wrong with Kari!

This hotel is perfect for travelers who aren't in a hurry to get to the valley. During peak hours, it can take over 30 minutes by taxi to and from the Jiuzhaigou Tourist Center. The hotel and rooms offer stunning views, located in the Huamei Shengdi town. Within walking distance, you'll find basic amenities like convenience stores, restaurants, cafes, and souvenir shops. It's also easy to get a taxi to Zhongzha Valley. The room facilities are on par with what you'd expect from a five-star resort hotel. Overall, the service was generally mediocre. Two things, however, stood out as excellent: Firstly, a slightly older male staff member during check-in was incredibly enthusiastic. He noticed it was our first stay and gave us a detailed介绍 of child-friendly attractions nearby. Secondly, when our TV broke, two maintenance staff members worked diligently for a long time into the evening, eventually discovering the IP was down and replacing the TV – they worked very hard late at night. Additionally, the shuttle drivers within the hotel were very responsible, always offering rides if they saw us on the road. Other services were rather cold. After discovering the TV was broken, the front desk initially dismissed it as a signal issue. It took a second call before they sent maintenance. There was no butler contact throughout our stay, but oddly enough, we received a call asking for a good review after we checked out. During our stay, there was a celebrity filming, and a staff member actually blocked our way to our room, asking us to make way for the celebrity – it was baffling.

The room was great, and the service was very warm. I'll definitely come back again.

Throughout my stay, I was incredibly grateful for the warm service from Melissa at the front desk. Whenever I had a question during my visit, she always responded promptly and patiently with detailed and thoughtful answers. Upon checking out, she even thoughtfully gave me a cute little bear gift, which was a heartwarming and delightful surprise. This attentive and kind service added so much joy to my trip. Highly recommended!
