If I could give this hotel, its staff, service, cleanliness, and overall perfect, peaceful vibes 100 gold stars, I would. I cannot say enough about how welcoming and accommodating they were. It's true that the body (staff) will follow the head (leadership). The hotel manager, Steven, treated me like I was his personal Auntie the way he made sure to ensure my comfort and every need I had was met with excellent responsiveness.
Let me say I have traveled the world and experienced accommodations from the diamond level to the basic level. This small, boutique hotel is probably at the top of my list of best stays ever. That is saying a lot for me. I am extremely discriminating and I see everything. When we are away from home, aside from a competent and service providing staff, the main concern is cleanliness. Terra Art Zen did not disappoint! The baseboards, the grout lines in the tile, the linen, and literally everything was as clean as I would keep my home. I was super comfortable.
Every time and anytime I am in Chengdu, I will only stay here.
As an added perk, if you are plant based like I am, the menu is 100% vegetarian. The restaurant is vegetarian for lunch and dinner, but will offer a couple of meat options for meat eaters on the breakfast buffet which is excellent

The photos are from my room, including my dinner one night, the view from my corner room window at night and during the day, my personal tea service ( not included with the room-my tea, the hotels cups) and the card left on the bed. I stayed 3 nights, but initially intended to stay one night only. I didn't want to leave!
