Aparthotel Neptuno Costadeje

In general, the hotel does exactly what it says on the tin. The team in the hotel are friendly and we had no issues with them. My small issues with the hotel are that there’s no air con in the rooms or at least room 75 which was ours. So in the hotter months, it’s sweltering at night. They do hire fans but we were quoted a 20€ deposit and 40€ hire fee for 1 fan per stay. The walls are very thin, and because of the way the rooms are stacked all noises are amplified within the rooms, night time can be somewhat problematic depending on the time your neighbours gets back from their chosen drinking establishments. The pools are really good, I have no complaints about them. The pool bar serves from 10:00-12:00am and is stocked with a good amount of drinks, also does food but we didn’t try it. If you just need somewhere clean to rest your head while enjoying Tenerife then this is ideal. If for some reason you expect 5 star service, then I’d look elsewhere.

We arrived and found a cockroach in our room. We made management aware and were told that he would send a cleaner tomorrow but there is no option of moving or any cleaning tonight. (A daily cleaner was promised at check in so this is not a solution but simply being dismissed). We then went to reception to voice this concern, ask if there are any other rooms and express that the previous staff member did not help and we had to stay there overnight with no cleaning or anyone to check the area. During this, we were greeted by the rudest hotel staff member I have ever encountered. This man did not apologise for the service or give us any solutions. I then asked if I could speak with a manager and he said he’s busy in a meeting. I asked when he would be available and he said don’t know. I said we will wait and he said okay. I also asked if I could make a complaint and he said “you’re speaking to me aren’t you?” I said is there no policy or procedure for complaints where they are recorded either written or online? He said “talking to me” He left us stood at the reception desk for 15 minutes before I then reproached and asked when he may be available as he was heard speaking in the side room, the member of staff did not even ask him and said 30 minutes. I gave up on speaking with staff due to the sheer disgust on his face and him completely ruining our holiday thus far with his disgraceful customer service skills. The next morning we woke up to 2 more cockroaches half alive on our floor. I then went to reception and explained that 3 days in we had still not seen a cleaner. It was the same rude man again who said “you said you didn’t want a cleaner” we never said this. He called the cleaners who apparently said we said no cleaners, the story then changed to us asking them to come later. The cleaners had not even met us or rang our bell. Interestingly the cleaners had changed towels and bin bags but done 0 cleaning so clearly had seen this as an opportunity to do very little. Also this is cleaning that came off the back of the ‘complaint’. We found 4 in total in a few days stay. This hotel have AWFUL service and the poorest customer service I have ever experienced in my life between the reception staff, extreme uncleanliness and inattentiveness of all members of staff I would strongly give it a miss. Other wise, the pools are okay. Notably, the cleaning staff do not come as promised, towels are only changed every 3 days so my partner and I had to reuse our two towels up to 5 times before fresh ones would be given. There is also no air con which is explained but as someone who has actually been here it is unbearably hot even in September so I can only imagine what the summer would be like. You get one fan which is something you would get in an office and not suitable for the heat of the rooms. Gorgeous aparthotel. We stayed in apartment n6 right next to the pool. Pool amazing and bar open till late. Our room was lovely but very hot. Had to hire a fan for the week which really should be included with having no air con but apart from that everything was fab

Avoid Neptuno Apartments at all costs. This was one of the worst accommodation experiences we’ve ever had. The room was absolutely filthy when we arrived. It was covered in hair and dirt. It was immediately obvious that it had not been cleaned properly. It was completely unacceptable and not fit for guests. There was also no air conditioning (we knew this) We asked the receptionist if we could have a fan, and his response was simply that he would “make a note.” There was no apology, no empathy, and no genuine attempt to resolve the situation. We were then told the room would be cleaned again, but nobody ever came. We waited and no one turned up. At that point, it was clear that our concerns were not being taken seriously. After just one hour, we had no choice but to leave and pay for alternative accommodation elsewhere at our own expense. It cost us even more money but staying there simply wasn’t an option. The lack of cleanliness, poor customer service, and failure to deal with a basic complaint made this an incredibly disappointing experience. We would absolutely never stay here again and would not recommend Neptuno Apartments to anyone looking for clean, comfortable, or professionally managed accommodation. Stayed here last week. It was ok, bed and a shower basically for us. We did get a bit fed up with the music at the pool so ventured out and found a nice little bar called the Union when we went to the Hiper Dino supermarket. Ended up spending most afternoons over there. Overall the hotel is ok but do t arrive with great expectations.

Location is good, Rooms are average for a studio, although clean at 1st at look I did find rubbish under the beds so I cleaned the apartment myself. Pool area is pleasant and clean but the music is awful the same beat from music that no one has ever heard of, and don't complain about anything because no one will assist you. You have to leave a £100 deposit on check in, if you want a safe, fantastic or anything else you pay more deposits, we were worried we might have to pay a deposit for sleeping or drinking! It's a real shame that little things aren't so good, because this hotel would be a little gem! Because the location is good, prices for drinks and food are reasonable.

This hotel surprised me. For the price we paid, I was not expecting much but I’m glad we chose this hotel. We were given an apartment with view to the main pool and our balcony had a sea view. The apartment was spacious with a convenient equipped kitchen. There was one room with two single beds that have been out together to make one and a sofa bed in the living room. The common areas of the hotel were always clean and inviting. Needless to say that the star of our visit was the main pool: big enough, with separation for the kids. Loads of sun beds available and a bar that serves delicious cheap food. All the staff was incredibly amazing, very accommodating. At night time you can also relax and enjoy a drink by the pool. There is a shopping center just down the road with a supermarket. Also very well located and you can go anywhere in 10 minutes. The hotel has a gym and a laundry room and a heated pool, all these were very handy. We will definitely be back. Thank you for having us!

highly recommended guys and gals I don’t see why there is some bad reviews but that’s each to there own . Myself/wife and the 2 kids stayed here for 6 days and absolutely loved it . The pools were fantastic food was nice and quite a fair price at the bar and drinks supermarket/shop/bakery right on the door step , staff were extremely friendly and very very helpful especially Kennith he even borrowed us his own phone charger till we got ours sorted . We didn’t need to pay £100 deposit like it’s been commented that you have too maybe I was lucky . I did have to pay £35 for a fan which I thought was responsible as the rooms don’t have AC you definitely need one . The apartment itself was luvly clean and fresh and cleaned every day . we all even said we could happily live there comfortably . I would recommend putting a towel rolled up by the front door so no bugs can get in . It’s true about the hills wow it’s steep lol nice easy walk down to the beach’s and the town centres/bars restaurants. I will End on this for the price that we payed and value for money you can not fault Neptuno apartments and I would definitely stay there again I am Even booking something for August to go back .
