Candlewood Suites WINDSOR LOCKS BRADLEY ARPT by IHG

This is a quiet location, close to the airport. I've stayed here multiple times, the staff has always been very helpful.

The rooms smelled terrible, the staff were rude. The pool was not working, there was construction on going and the photos were a complete lie.

My room was on the second floor above the lobby. I had to listen to the very loud sliding door in the lobby open and close all night. Not sure why it was so loud but it woke me up every time someone came in or out of the lobby. Also the bed was terrible. Sunk in the middle and seemed like it had broken springs or something.

Entire floor smelled like a strong odor from someone cooking. We arrived after 11 pm and odor was strong. Bed sheets were not clean.

The property is currently undergoing renovations, and the parking lot definitely needs to be patched and paved. Other than that, it was a nice hotel.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Proximity airport. Walking distance to restaurants. No frills but clean and very comfortable.

only two things I didn’t like was that the curtains didn’t close all the way so I had to hair clip them closed and the bathroom mirror wasn’t wiped clean and there was a message in the mirror from prior guest

Great property. Worth booking if you have a flight the next morning. Big suites. Good service (printed out my documents for me). Great airport shuttle.

Very nice hotel to stay at. Friendly and helpful staff. I stay at Candlewood every time I have to fly out of BDL early in the morning.
