Granary Hotel Nearby Tian'anmen& Forbidden City ,Temple of Heaven shuttle bus to the Great Wall

The hotel is located in an alley, about a 10-minute walk from the subway station. Honestly, there are many other hotels in the Grain Street area at the same price point that are closer to the subway. As soon as I entered the room, it felt tiny. The soundproofing was also quite poor; I could clearly hear conversations from the hallway, and I was woken up by noise every morning. The environment is exactly as shown in the pictures. As a guy, I don't usually have high expectations. I booked the 'Special Forces' discounted room, but for a 300-400 RMB hotel, is this just because it's Beijing? I'm from Guangzhou and I'm not sure, but back home, a place like this would barely cost 100 RMB. Also, you have to pick up your takeout orders from the front desk; they don't deliver to the door.

I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel! Its location is absolutely superb, right in the Dashilar area. You step out directly onto the pedestrian street, and it's only about a ten-minute walk to the subway station, making it incredibly convenient to get to major attractions like Tiananmen Square, the Temple of Heaven, and the National Museum. The surrounding area is packed with authentic Beijing specialty eateries, offering everything from hotpot and pastries to various snacks, making it super easy to explore and dine. The room's cleanliness completely exceeded my expectations; every corner was meticulously clean, the bedding was tidy and odorless, and the bathroom had no water stains or hidden dirty spots, so even germaphobes can stay with peace of mind. The front desk and housekeeping staff were all friendly and enthusiastic, responding promptly to any issues and providing thoughtful and attentive service. Overall, my travel and stay experience was top-notch. It's my first choice for a Beijing trip. I had only booked one night online, but I decisively extended my stay for two more days in person. I'll definitely stay here again next time!

It's alright, quite close to the Dashilar food street.

The location is fantastic, very close to Qianmen Street and Tiananmen Square. There are also subway and bus stations nearby. Xiao Yu provided excellent service; she was a truly wonderful staff member.

This hotel is generally quite good. It's located in an alley, which makes it very quiet, yet just a short walk brings you to Qianmen Street, making it super convenient to get to any attractions. They offer a wide variety of room types, so no matter your needs, you'll find something suitable. They even have family rooms and bunk beds. Pretty good!

The hotel is super convenient, just one subway stop from Tiananmen Square on Line 2, and about a 10-15 minute walk. It's small but charming, and the room was spotless. They even have freshly ground coffee! The owner clearly puts a lot of thought into this place.

Nestled in a hutong, the room seemed clean, but the soundproofing was terrible. I could hear the hair dryer next door while lying in bed, and conversations from the neighboring room were audible in the bathroom. The gap under the door was huge, and I could hear the cleaning staff shuffling around. The bathroom was so cramped, it's only suitable for slim people; anyone larger would feel extremely uncomfortable and might even get stuck. Well, I guess you can't expect too much from a 'special forces' room – they didn't even provide a bar of soap.

The hygiene was surprisingly comfortable and clean, and the room wasn't as old and rundown as I expected. The soundproofing wasn't great though; there was a child crying hysterically on the second floor in the middle of the night. There's no TV. When I turned off the lights to look at my phone late at night, I saw a tiny flying insect. The location is very close to Qianmen, Dashilar, and Tiananmen Square. The two young ladies at the front desk were incredibly gentle and patient, always ready to help. I'd give the hotel a 70, but the front desk staff get a 100! They also offer free coffee, fruit tea, and hot water, and you can store your luggage for free until very late. The only downside was that the linens were slow to arrive; I checked in in the afternoon and had to wait in the lobby for a long time. I eventually got hungry and went out to eat, and then had to wait a bit more when I got back.
