Hotel Santa Maria

Close to the river where there are many scooter and bikes. We ride everyday to visit where we plan to go. Easier than bus and we enjoyed the breeze. There are so many restaurants in area, you won’t stop trying them. On the other hand, it’s surprisingly quiet in the hotel. Staffs are nice and friendly, shared useful information, customize cappuccino for lady and children. The room isn’t new or fancy but they made them very clean. The garden is beautiful, I had my breakfast with birds together.

Such a beautiful place in a perfect location. We walked to the Coliseum, the Vatican and the Pantheon. All the restaurants and everything needed for the perfect trip are all within walking distance. They treat you like royalty from the time you checkin until departure. They even made dinner reservations for us and offered to locate us a driver. This will be our place to stay anytime while in Rome!

The entire staff were so warm, welcoming, helpful, and charming. Hope to stay here again if I get back to Rome. Breakfast and happy hour was wonderful everyday.

The staff here is amazing! Norman makes the best Cappuccino’s. The courtyard is a great place to have breakfast in the mornings and happy hours in the evening. Whenever you leave hotel to go shopping or have dinner, you can always leave your key at front desk and pick it up when you get back, you don’t need to carry it or worry about losing it. We will definitely come back!

The staff is excellent and the hotel feels like you are visiting with family. The breakfast is great and the rooms are comfortable and clean. Good value for money.

Great safe and quiet place in the middle of Rome. Extremely helpful staff. Great happy hour!

I don't usually write reviews but I was so impressed with this hotel I had to write one! The staff was great, helpful and friendly. Our room was great and clean- the hotel is an oasis in a busy Rome neighborhood. The breakfast was amazing.

Excellent breakfast every day with great coffee. Happy hour was really nice too, and useful if you’ve eaten lunch and don’t want to go out for another meal in the evening. Lovely staff who were always very helpful.
