Hotel Santa Maria

Close to the river where there are many scooter and bikes. We ride everyday to visit where we plan to go. Easier than bus and we enjoyed the breeze. There are so many restaurants in area, you won’t stop trying them. On the other hand, it’s surprisingly quiet in the hotel. Staffs are nice and friendly, shared useful information, customize cappuccino for lady and children. The room isn’t new or fancy but they made them very clean. The garden is beautiful, I had my breakfast with birds together.

Such a beautiful place in a perfect location. We walked to the Coliseum, the Vatican and the Pantheon. All the restaurants and everything needed for the perfect trip are all within walking distance. They treat you like royalty from the time you checkin until departure. They even made dinner reservations for us and offered to locate us a driver. This will be our place to stay anytime while in Rome!

Excellent breakfast every day with great coffee. Happy hour was really nice too, and useful if you’ve eaten lunch and don’t want to go out for another meal in the evening. Lovely staff who were always very helpful.

This was a little place of tranquility in the middle of s very popular area. Highly recommend it

We had an excellent experience at this property from all the amenities to the staff. Everyone was wonderful.

Everything was absolutely great. The staff was helping us with everything from booking restaurants to airport transportation. Breakfest super. Location straight in the heart of Trastevere but still no noises.

The room was immaculate and staff were very efficient and polite. Would recommend it to anyone who wants to see Rome,especially on foot!

Alessandro, the manager in charge when I came, gave me a warm welcome. He was diligent giving all the information I needed. The bedroom was clean, with enough supply of tea, and a tea kettle was available. The bathroom was immaculate with the tub and shower -- a nice bath with good flow of water. Toiletries were provided. Breakfast was superb! Variety of coffee that were freshly brewed by the barista. Egg, ham, cereals, fruits, bread, muffins, and fresh juices were available. The staff were courteous and very accommodating.
