China Hotel

The joy of traveling is choosing the right hotel, and China Hotel, A Marriott Hotel, Guangzhou is definitely a delightful choice. The bellhops greeted us with smiles and helped with our luggage, making us feel completely at home. The front desk staff provided friendly and efficient service, and check-in was quick. The room was clean and comfortable, and from the window, we had a beautiful view of the sky garden with its flowers, green trees, charming bridges, flowing water, and a waterfall – simply uplifting! The Executive Lounge has an elegant ambiance and a wide selection of drinks. A special shout-out to Martiv Huang, whose service to guests was impeccable and truly went above and beyond. Enjoying tea and delicious food here, with the lovely scenery as a backdrop, was wonderful. The breakfast restaurant was fragrant and offered an array of tempting dishes, including rice noodles, Ying Kee fried eggs, red bean cakes… The lively atmosphere was inviting, and Charissa, in particular, proactively helped guests with food, showing warmth, attentiveness, and thoughtfulness. The hotel staff's dedication and considerate service truly made us feel like we were returning home.

Got a free upgrade to a suite, which was a nice surprise. This hotel was one of Guangzhou's first five-star establishments, and the 'China' in its name really means something. The rooms have been renovated, and although the building isn't super tall, the overall experience is good. The only downside is that it can get quite crowded with various types of people.

This hotel is in a bustling, vibrant area, and the service, quality, and environment are all excellent. The location is especially fantastic; right outside, you'll find various bus routes and Metro Line 2, making it incredibly convenient to get anywhere. I'll definitely prioritize staying here again on my next visit.

Though it first opened in the 1980s, the hotel still maintains a grand and elegant style. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets offer a wide variety of delicious dishes at a very reasonable price. It's also incredibly convenient to get to nearby subways and major attractions.

Got an upgraded room, which was spacious enough. The bed was quite comfortable, though I could never quite get the air conditioning to the perfect temperature. The breakfast selection was very rich and satisfying. However, probably due to the Canton Fair, the hotel lobby and elevators were filled with a familiar yet suffocating odor – a strong mix of fragrance and foulness that was truly hard to bear.

This older hotel is very well-managed; everything is excellent. The breakfast is rich and delicious! The hotel is conveniently located right next to Guangzhou Railway Station and Yuexiu Park, offering a beautiful and pleasant environment.

The hotel's location is fantastic, right above Yuexiu Park subway station. The hotel itself is very clean and comfortable. The front desk staff, especially one lady, was incredibly patient and even upgraded me to a mini-suite, which I really appreciated! My flight was delayed, and Ello at the front desk was kind enough to extend my check-out by 2 hours, which was a huge help. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay, and I'll definitely consider staying here again next time I'm in town.

The hotel service is excellent! The cleanliness is superb! Mickey Zhou at the front desk was very service-minded and helped us upgrade to a suite! I will definitely book China Grand Hotel again next time!

We chose Guangzhou for our coral anniversary trip and decided to stay at the China Hotel, a place I've loved since my youth. I'm very satisfied! Both the service and facilities were excellent. A special thank you to Lucy Chen, who, upon learning of our anniversary, specially requested a warm room setup and a complimentary cake from her supervisor. Lucy was professional, efficient, and incredibly friendly. It's been a long time since I've experienced such five-star service. Thank you again to all the hardworking staff!
