The hotel is grand and in a great location. The subway is right downstairs. You can find Starbucks, pizza, and desserts without even leaving the hotel, plus there's a food street. Guests get an 8.5% discount. The deluxe twin room has 1.4m beds, which are quite large. Overall, it's very good.

The room was a bit small and not very clean. The facilities were old and the breakfast selection was limited. The Oriental Hotel next door is a bit better than this one.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Surprise Suite Upgrade! Absolutely Perfect Experience! My stay at China Hotel Guangzhou this time was such a pleasant surprise! I originally booked a standard room, but to my delight, our customer manager Sandy thoughtfully upgraded us to a suite for free 🏠! The space was huge, offering plenty of room to move around, and having a separate living room and bedroom meant we didn't disturb each other's schedules – absolutely ideal for a family trip! The room had an expansive view, and the floor-to-ceiling windows provided excellent natural light ☀️. The food street on the first floor is also a must-visit; the bamboo pole noodles were perfectly springy, and the winter melon and fish porridge was delightfully fresh and sweet. It was both convenient and authentic dining. The hotel's location right by the subway entrance made getting around incredibly easy. Sandy's service was truly impeccable, attentive, and incredibly warm-hearted ❤️. Next time I'm in Guangzhou, I'm definitely staying here and asking for Sandy!

This veteran five-star hotel has newly renovated rooms that are clean and hygienic, with comfortable twin beds. The service is friendly, from the front desk staff to the security guards and cleaning aunties, everyone greets you warmly. The location is excellent, with a side entrance directly connecting to Yuexiu Park Station on Metro Line 2. Yuexiu Park itself is right across from the hotel. We booked a 2-night package on Ctrip for 1000 RMB, which was incredible value for money. The front desk even extended all executive benefits to my Lingnan Gold Card membership. (Just a quick complaint here: a certain loyalty program member card offered no benefits when booking through Ctrip.) For food, I highly recommend the restaurant on the first floor of the hotel; many local regulars frequent it, and their intangible cultural heritage Zhusheng Wonton Noodles are incredibly fresh and delicious. The only downside is that I missed out on the 138 RMB group purchase fish hotpot; they said it requires advance booking and is only available for dinner, so I'll have to save that for my next visit.

I checked in late due to an event, and the front desk staff was incredibly warm and thoughtful. They kindly upgraded me to a suite. The environment was beautiful, clean, and hygienic, and there was a complimentary lychee pastry as a welcome gift. It felt just like coming home!

This is an established five-star hotel. While the facilities might not be the most modern, it's impeccably clean, and the staff are well-trained. The food at the Four Seasons restaurant is consistently reliable. If you're dining alone, the tea restaurant next to Starbucks or the Itamae Japanese restaurant are both excellent choices. The view from the room's window is absolutely stunning!

Before my stay at China Hotel, A Marriott Hotel in Guangzhou, I was a little worried, thinking that as an older hotel, the facilities might feel dated. However, my actual experience was quite satisfying. The hotel service was thoughtful and attentive; my requests to the front desk were handled very quickly, and the staff were all very pleasant. The rooms have been renovated and well-maintained, and the breakfast selection was extensive, making for a very comfortable stay. The hotel's central location means there are tons of food options nearby, and getting to popular spots by taxi is usually just the minimum fare, which is super convenient for daily meals and late-night snacks. Highly recommended.

A surprisingly pleasant stay! I encountered a typhoon during my trip, but the hotel conveniently offers a Chinese restaurant, a food street, and various chain brand dining options, so I didn't even have to leave to get a good meal. The hotel is also just a few hundred meters' walk from a commercial street, a museum, and a large park, making its location absolutely fantastic with plenty of bustling activity nearby. A big thank you to the front desk for upgrading my room type. The room was spotlessly clean, and I felt that the facilities and amenities provided were on par with other five-star hotels in the city. The housekeeping staff were warm and friendly. I'll definitely prioritize staying at China Hotel next time I'm in the area.
