Hilton Garden Inn Shanghai Lujiazui

The hotel is at a great location, with train exits within walking distance. There are several shopping malls and local shops around the street so it is very convenient to get food and do some shopping. My room was decent and clean at times. However the towel cleanliness could be improved, I could see stains from previous use and certain parts of the floor was not swept or vacuumed. Rooms are not soundproof so guests or cleaning staff talking loudly in the rooms or along the corridor can disrupt sleep. There was a lost in translation moment on my last day and Queeney called me back and I expressed some concerns. I'm very impressed with how much she wanted to improve my experience in the remaining few hours of my stay. She showed kindness - offered me breakfast, graciousness - help me book a taxi but i had already arranged a driver and great customer service - offered me some snacks and escorted by staff who helped with my luggage while i waited for the driver to go to the airport. This shows that the staff truly care for their guests and will do their best to make things right if they have fallen short. I will stay at this hotel again the next time i visit Shanghai.
