Batuta Maldives Surf View

Room was clean but could do with some re-decoration as a bit run down, but bed was very comfy! Hair dryers didn’t work, but that’s not a huge issue. Staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was absolute great! My main feedback is that it just seemed like it needed a lot of maintenance and there was maintenance going on around me a lot! I would have just liked to be told before booking.

A lovely few days here, property is right on the bikini beach. Chairs and loungers to use on beach. Spacious room, comfy beds, good water pressure, nice breakfast included. Lovely staff that helped us out. The place is a little basic but doesn’t take away from our stay

Perfect location, breakfast was delicious, hot shower, comfy bed, air con worked, all the workers were friendly and helpful. The manager was amazing and made sure we were all sorted for our whole trip even on other islands, we booked our trips through him and would do again!

Wonderful spot. They have a great beach, with access to corals and excellent snorkelling. The food is generous and tasty. One point to consider: Thulusdhoo is under heavy development at the moment, and there are two building sites for new guesthouses immediately adjacent to the hotel, which you can hear from the rooms. Power was also a little on-and-off. But it was an excellent stay and they even helped us organise a lovely sand bar trip.

The location is excellent. Right in front of the bikini beach and the surf breaks. The staff are all lovely. We also had lunch here twice and the food was so good! The manager was friendly and had a chat with us one morning and it was great as we learned about the Maldives tourism history. We would have given a higher rating but the bathroom we stayed in had a very bad smell throughout our stay. It's probably just due to the plumbing and the age of the room so we didn't mention it to the staff. This is something to consider when booking. Aside from the smell in the bathroom, we would definitely consider staying here again.

This was the friendliest stay I’ve ever had! The manager and staff were so helpful in everything, from storing bags, arranging surf rental and boats, to transportation. I felt like family, something I’ve never felt staying anywhere else. Oh, and the view and beach is incredible.

The location is fantastic, beachfront with the most amazing view of the ocean, palm trees and coral reef. We had the best room, sea view which was outstanding. The staff were friendly and very helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay so memorable. We had clean sheets, towels daily and the food here is excellent, not one bad meal in our whole two week stay. The staff decorated our room for my partners birthday and arranged a beautiful romantic dinner on the beach. The sea is warm, turquoise clear waters with the most stunning coral reef just on our doorstep. We saw pods of dolphins jumping and playing whilst watchinem ftom our balcony. All excursions are reasonable and plenty to choose from we went snorkelling with turtles, trip to the sandbanks and on a dolphin cruise. Will be very sad to leave. Thankyou to all the staff. Salman cooked a wonderful breakfast & dinner. Ajjo helped and guided in round-day tours. beach location with a decent crowd safe for solo travelers too. the only issue on the island didn't get prawns, shellfish, or crab..always tuna or chicken. a room without any view, all sides closed but come out and you are on the beach. worth visiting for budget travelers. visit by Govt ferry at 22rupiya, in male 10rupiya bus one way and minibus 7rupiya. enjoy Maldives with 3USD$ per night green taxes other than other taxes.
