Last year, I stayed at the Dusit Thani in Bangkok and was very impressed. This year, coming to Kyoto, I chose the brand again. The overall service was impeccable, from the warm welcome at the entrance, the front desk reception, and housekeeping to the breakfast service. Every staff member was enthusiastic and attentive, and our needs were always efficiently and properly met. The room cleanliness was exceptional, with meticulous tidying twice a day, making our stay incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was a combination of buffet and à la carte, and the ingredients and flavors were just to my liking. I was once again very impressed and will definitely choose Dusit Thani Kyoto again on my next visit to Kyoto.

The hotel's service and hygiene were excellent, and the room was very comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic, with very fresh food, including fresh cantaloupe and honeydew melon. My only disappointment was that the swimming pool was only for adults, with height and age restrictions for children.

I really liked this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful with everything. They provided food and drinks upon check-in. The room was cozy and had everything I needed. There was an air conditioning system, a master control panel, two sinks in the bathroom, a good mattress, and comfortable pillows. The hotel itself is very attractive from the outside and conveniently located, close to everything. You can get there by taxi in 10-15 minutes. If you don't use taxi-hailing apps yourself, the lovely staff, who speak excellent English, will do it for you. The hotel's style is a modern fusion of Japanese and Thai elements. I grew up in Thailand and have always loved Japan. I really enjoyed my stay. Thank you!

Need to catch taxis to get around with Kids; Housekeeping was even better than Four Seasons; Service standards were excellent—the staff clearly received professional training; The swimming pool and fitness facilities were slightly lacking, but the bed was just the right firmness, and the breakfast selection and quality were excellent; All of all, I would choose to stay again if in the Autumn or Winter.

The hotel is tucked away in a lively area, and I had a fantastic three-night stay here. 1. The service was incredibly responsive, and all the staff were wonderfully warm and friendly. 2. The room's bedding was comfortable, and it was so quiet I fell asleep instantly on the first two nights, haha! (Though the pillows are quite soft, so guests with neck issues might need to request a different one.) The cleanliness was impeccable, very friendly for germaphobes. 3. The breakfast selection wasn't vast, but the taste was good, leaning towards a refined, small-scale type of meal. I'd give it about a 6.5 out of 10, with a focus on a European-Thai fusion flavor. 4. Local dining options aren't super concentrated; you'll generally need to take a taxi 1-2 km to find food. I highly recommend Kubota Tsukemen, about 20 meters to the left of the hotel! Absolutely delicious! As a carb lover, I adored it! Try to go during off-peak hours, or you'll be waiting in line for a long time.

The concierge team is really resourceful and helpful when we asked about luggage delivery service, thumbs up for their service. Just love everything about the hotel, excellent hospitality, great location, beautiful design, spacious room, comfortable bed and etc. Breakfast with huge selection including some Thai dishes, crispy bacons ever, just amazing. It was really great value for the money, highly recommended!

Right in front of the bus stop and not too far from the station, the location is quite good for sightseeing in Kyoto. And as expected from Dusit Thani, the interior design and service were excellent. I'm glad I stayed here.
